Hi i'm Carla, I have worked in childcare for over 17years. I am an Ofsted registered childminder, my aim is to provide children with a home from home environment. I have a passion for caring for children and I aim to provide a safe, caring and warm environment for children to thrive, feel safe and happy whilst in my care. I love working with children, I am a caring, trustworthy person, who is easy going, very reliable and a non smoker.
I am an active person who enjoys planning fun activities and days out for the children in my care, based on their development and interests. I enjoy taking the children in my care to playgroups, kew gardens, soft play areas and local parks. I also enjoy planning activities at home such as baking, messy play and activities in my garden such as sand and water play.
My Experience
I have over 17 years experience in working in childcare. I worked in a nursery caring for children aged 3months- 3years. I left the nursery setting after 6 years and became a Nanny. I was a Nanny for over 10 years. I have lots of experience in caring for children 8 months onwards, caring for multiple children and twins.
My Qualifications
I have a GNVQ in Health and Social Care, I also have an NVQ Level 3 in childcare and Level 3 award in Home Based Childcare
My Availability
My working hours are 7.30am-5.30pm Monday-Friday. Full time and part time spaces available.
