About Me
I am very friendly and passionate about caring for children and making sure that they are 100% safe and happy in my care. I thrive on making their days enjoyable and want to work well with parents to ensure that they are fully aware of what their children do in my care during the day. I provide healthy meals and snacks, bake and cook. I enjoy messy play and allow painting, playdough, drawing and I complete daily diaries to give to you parents so you can see what your child has done and also for you to communicate anything with me. I am an outdoors person. I enjoy taking the children to our local parks and keeping a general routine within their parents expectations. I have a horse which is kept at a livery, there; we have a private pond, paddock area and orchard that homes geese, ducks, dragonflies and fish, where the children can go see and explore. I accept tax-free childcare payments and early years funding. Recently rated "good" by Ofsted inspection
My Experience
I have looked after children from 2006 and I have 3 of my own children. aged 19, 15 and a 3 year old. I've provided childminding care for several years and I'm very confident managing my home setting. I have also experienced home schooling during covid and now home educating my 15 year old son. I have worked at Little Wildlings in Kingston st mary. I have also worked at the local horse riding centre teaching young children how to ride. Diploma in child day car and level 2 early years practitioner, level 3 in understanding autism and have experience with ehcp and camhs services.
My Qualifications
I am paediatric first aid trained, i have attended safeguarding, child protection and early years courses. I have completed a food hygiene, health and safety course, addressing difficult behaviours, equality and inclusion within early years setting, prevent duty and understanding children's rights. Eyfs teaching diploma. I have a child day care diploma and Introduction to childminding practice. I am trained in risky play and also behaviour management.

I am available for short term and weekends if needed.
