About Me
Hi my name is Sarah and I’m 47 mum and childminder with an outstanding report from OFSTED.i am mum of 4 children 27,24,20 and 19. I have been ofsted registered since december 2009 with london borough of richmond I’ve have currently changed from ofsted to Rutland agency.I have been working with children for many years either in a nursery or as a nanny. My last position was in working mums nursery where i built up a good relationship with the children and the parents. I am currently working with my sister Katy in my home who is 31 and has been a childminder for roughly 4 years she is also registered with Rutland agency . I feel that we can give alot to the childrfen through learning and palying with a wide range of activities for them to do, As well as a great social life with meeting new children and their childminders.
We have a great newtwork of friends and childminders that i see regulary who all have children of their own,During the school holidays we have outings like visiting the farms or soft play areas. We are all about having a safe comfortable home and having good fun while learning and being in safe care and we believe we can give this to the children we will be looking after.
We run a mini nursery based setting together but still a home environment which the children benefit from especially having a wider range of ages they can interact with.

13 years childminding but have been working with children since the age of 15.
Katy has roughly 4 years, our mum was also a childminder for 46 years and before that worked in a foster home.
My Qualifications
We are both first aid trained and also a level 3 diploma in home-based childcare. I have done a safe guarding training and a CAF course.

Both of my daughters, now aged 2 and 5 years, have been looked after by Katy and Sarah for the last 18 months. I can whole heartedly say that they have been absolutely amazing with them, and with us as parents too.
From the very start, they have been so supportive and go above and beyond to help us with the children. They have been so nurturing and lovely with the children and make so much effort to make them happy and settled at their home.
It is lovely that they are sister's that work together too, and there are more children at the setting as the children get to work on more social interaction.
I highly recommend them as childcarers.
