About Me

My name is Karen and I live with my husband, Chris and two sons Dean and Aaron, We live in a non-smoking three bedded terrace house in Crathern Way Cambridge which is close to the local primary schools, Kings Hedges Primary, The Grove, St Lawrence, Orchard Park.
It’s a great location for children as we have numerous local play parks close by, as well as being close to the library, town centre, nature walks and a swimming pool which is open to the public.

Should you decide to take up my services as a Childminder, I will endeavour to put your child/children’s needs first to provide you with the peace of mind that you need to carry out your daily responsibilities, safe in the knowledge that he/she is being cared for in a happy family secure, relaxed and able to enjoy their time spent here.

I have a purpose built playroom with many resources and toys, so that your child/children can learn & experience different cultures of understanding the world. We also have a safe secured enclosed back garden where children can use the trampoline, water/sand tables and to play other outdoor activities.

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage for my planning & plan for individual needs to suit the ages & stages of children’s, cultures or backgrounds – so that the child enjoys learning & achieves as much as they can.
I am also a member of the Cambridge Come First Network, quality assurance childminding network which means that childminders are committed to working to a quality high standard.

My standard hours of service are Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm , Offering Part time or Full time spaces, breakfast club & after school club. If you require care outside of these hours, this may be possible through arrangement, even if on a regular basis.
