About Me
Wife and Mum to two boys now men , 28 & 24 years old and recently a grandmother.
I have been in childcare for over 35 years.
I was a dancer and enjoyed competing and performing in shows . I have a dog that I take out for local walks and often the children I care for like to go too and I also have two cats who are also child friendly .
I am NNEB trained , I also have my ADCE , also level 2 management, autism level 3 . Rolling Dbs , first aid trained for 40 years , forest school , play therapy and much more .
I am a very active nanny who loves to see children learn through play , love being outdoors with the children having lots of adventures.
My Experience
After gaining my NNEB I was a nanny for a couple of years before joining a day nursery ,due to government cut backs the nursery closed and I then moved onto working as a nursery nurse and then a social worker assistant at Slough family centre . Once my children were born I worked from home as a childminder for Local families for 10 yeas before taking on a small Playgroup in 2005 - I expanded this to a full time term time popular pre school , and toddler group and summer club .
I sold in 2017 and took a year out . I have since been working mobile for 5 families - some as one to one support for children with special needs , working on the targets and with the families too . Other families for part time nanny hours of children or siblings that used to attend my pre school - Teddy Bears in Chalfont St. Peter .
My main nanny family of three children , who I have been with for 7 years is coming to an end as the youngest will start school in September 2025.
I am looking for a new full / part time family that I can help and support from July onwards to care for babies , toddlers or children with special needs . Can also babysit evenings and help out at weekends if needed .
My Qualifications
NNEB , ADCE , Autism level 3 , forest school ,management , send , pecs , are just a few
First aid , child protection , and a folder full of day courses and workshops .
My Availability
Looking for a new role full/ 4 or 5 day week all year round .
