Ofsted registered childminder : I am a mum to two boys Billy 9
and Harrison 6 I live on Sandhills estate.
I worked as a nanny for ten years gaining lots of experience from newborn to teenagers, before I became an ofsted registered childminder.
I offer a home from home childcare setting, everyday is an adventure, learning planned through the children’s interests. I have a lovely sized garden for outside play with a play house, climbing fort and lots more.
We go on outings locally.
I follow the EYFS statutory framework re development and learning of children aged from birth to 5.
Healthy meals provided in my setting.
My Experience
I have been an ofsted registered childminder since February 2018.
Previous I worked for a family of 4 children in Harpenden until mum gave up work to be at home. 3 girls and 1 boy.
I worked for two families in berkhamsted looking after 2 girls aged 10months old and a 5 year old girl.
I then worked for a family with 2 girls before and after school and full time in school holidays - taken my son with me until I had my second baby.

Rachael has looked after my daughter (aged 3) on numerous occasions and I would not hesitate to recommend her. She has a wealth of experience with children and is very unflappable and sensible, but also provides lots of fun and creativity. Her home is safe, calm and very clean and I know that my daughter is looked after brilliantly. It speaks volumes when she says that she doesn't want to come home in the evening!

Rachael currently looks after my 3 year daughter and 6 year old son before and after school. She has been fantastic since the start and genuinely cares about the welfare of my children. She has created a lovely setting for the children giving lots of thought to what types of toys my children will like playing with. She sets up the setting daily with different activities. They are always bringing home lots of creative art work and telling me about all the fun they have had. Rachael regularly sends me little updates and photos of the kids which is always well received. Rachael has never had time off for sickness and has always been professional and friendly with the childcare service she offers. I have no hesitation in recommending Rachael to other parents.
