About Me
I am a friendly, caring but thorough tutor who has had much experience with pupils with special needs but also has extensive experience in Literacy and KS2 and KS3 but Literacy and Maths booster work at all levels and much at KS2. I have worked in many of the special schools and units across London plus a number of mainstream schools in all sectors. I have tutored extensively with local councils for excluded and pupils in care but also specialiise in gifted and talented and gifted and talented children with special needs who need their talents unlocked.
My Experience
SEN units. Nurseries. Secondary SEN departments. Mainstream schools. KS2 booster work. Reception and early reading. Secondary Inclusion departments. Informal assessment and ability to design a custom-made programme of work for children who have more to give. One-to-One tuition - 40 pupils in one school alone.
My Qualifications
Qualified teacher.
15 years experience.
Experienced in all sectors including SEN.
Dyslexia, dyspraxia experienced.
Early Years experience.
Dyslexia trained.
PG Cert & Diploma at Masters in Inclusion and SEN. MA dissertation in progress
SENCo & Leadership course taken.
Much One-to-One and small group experience.
