About Me
Hi my name is Kath
I live in Darwen with my two children, Dylan 17 years and Maisy 11 years. I am a friendly and outgoing person. I registered as a childminder due to having my second child 11 years ago but have worked with children from birth to 11 years for over 20 years. I am looking forward to meeting new families to share our happy home with and both children are excited about meeting new friends
I have had my ofsted inspection i was graded a GOOD
My Experience
When I left school i comleted my BTEC in Childhood studies at Preston Collage. From the work experience completred during this course I was asked to work in two of the settings. I went on to work in a few nurseries over the years and when I moved to Darwen I moved on to work in a nursery in Blackburn. I have experience of new born babies and I have also completed my Level 4 NVQ in childcare.
My Qualifications
BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies (NUrsery Nursing)
CACHE Level 4 NVQ in children's care, learning and development
Higher level child protection
Level 2 award in Food safety in catering
Paediatric First Aid
9 GCSEs
RSA
Level 2 counselling skills
Level 3 counselling studies
and many other certificates in training to work with children

Hours are flexible
Part time hours are available and flexible
