About Me
Hi, my name's Helen and I have recently retained my good Ofsted grading for the 5th time in 18 years. After many happy years bringing up my own children, I decided 18 years ago to become a childminder as I love looking after young children and babies. We live in a large 4 bedroomed house, with a large safely enclosed garden, near to parks, schools and shops, and I have a separate childminding annexe from which I work. I dont drive but this has never been a problem as we are within walking distance to amenities, and the children love being out and about, either walking or in the pushchair. We have lots of toys both indoor and out and good quality equipment such as highchairs,travel cots, pushchairs etc. Our activities include baking, craft, music and story time, visiting toddler groups etc. After school children have lots of fun with park visits, picnics and seasonal crafts and activities.
My Experience
I have been a mum for 36 years, a grandparent for 6 and have childminded for 18 years. I worked previously for 2 and a half years in a pre-school and used to organise fun after school dance workshops at the junior school my own children attended.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered and have the cache level 3 diploma in childcare. I have certificates for the following courses; paediatric first aid, safeguarding children, level 2 award in food safety, positive behaviour management, working with parents, observation,assessment and planning, family literacy
My Availability
My hours are 7.30 - 6 Mon - Thursday, term time only ( can be flexible in certain circumstances)
I have no vacancies at present but children are welcome to be added to my waiting list.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
To be discussed. no retainer fees charged in school holidays for parents as I am term time only. I accept funding.
