My Experience

I have been childminding for 17 years and in that time have cared for many children of varying ages.
I love working with children and helping them to explore the world around them and achieve new skills. I ensure that children get a good balance off activities designed to enable them to learn through play.
I take an attachment parenting approach to childcare, children are not left to cry themselves to sleep or expected to fit into a routine that doesn't suit them. Each and every child is treated with care and individuality. We are happy to cater for any religious or dietary requirements.

I have a Level 3 certificate in Early Learning and Childcare as well as Level 2 certificates in Understanding Autism and Child Protection.
My Paediatric First Aid certificate is renewed every 3 years and I have experience caring for children with SEN as well as children with diabetes and other chronic illnesses.

We also offer care for home educated children where they are free to explore their own individual ways of learning and developing.

ICP, Paediatric First Aid, other various training, Level 3 qualification in Early Years

My Availability

Monday-Sunday 6.30am - 11pm plus later flexibility available. Space for full and part time children, plus before/after school collection available.

We offer a drop in service for parents who want to leave their children in a safe and fun environment without a contract. Perfect for time to go to the gym, doctors appointments etc.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

£5 per hour for contracted care.
£6 per hour non-contracted occassional care (min number of hours apply.)
£7.50 per hour over night.

I am also able to accept Cornwall County Council funding for 9 months to 4 year olds, either 15/30hours per week term time only or a stretched offer throughout the year.
