QUOTES FROM CLIENTS
'Rosemary was recommended by a friend. She has been (and is) an amazing support, working with me and my style of parenting. She gives great practical guidance that really has made all the difference, including getting A the care she needed in hospital when A was sick. She has advised on a huge range of topics, including breast and bottle feeding; sleep; bathing; vaccinations; and play. She is also the only person I will leave A with for several hours. Thanks so much Rosemary - hugely appreciated!’

‘When Rosemary arrived at our home, she immediately made us feel at ease, and left us with no doubts about her knowledge or competence. She was kind and patient with our baby girl and had her happily drinking from a bottle almost immediately! Thank you Rosemary, we only wish we'd met you sooner!'

Hi Rosemary,
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your help and advice.
Vincent is 8 and a half months old and we have tried on numerous occasions, at different ages, with different bottles to try and get him to take to it. He has always cried whenever we have tried to give him the bottle in the past and with me going back to work soon we decided to seek out advice. She was very friendly and offered some great advice over the phone. I then met her in person and she helped us to rethink how we approached the situation. Vincent was stubborn but with persistence from us he quickly took to the bottle and on the second day I was able to feed him his evening bottle. Rosemary said we could call her if we needed anything at any point but the advice she had given us prior to us starting was so helpful, we didn't need to call her.
Thank you again for all your help, it will make going back to work a little bit easier, not having to worry that he's not drinking from a bottle. ?
"We hired Rosemary on referral from a fellow maternity nurse who mentioned she would be able to help us with our baby L , we had 2 main issues when she was 10 - 11 weeks old ;
1: she was breast feeding every 2 hours day and night which meant I was exhausted and tied to her .
2: she wouldn't take a bottle no matter how many different teats or times we tried .
We hired Rosemary for the breast to bottle package on the assumption that would help with the amount of feeding, volume and therefore sleep.
She was great - very professional, proficient and has a knack with babies.
She succeeded pretty much straight away with L and taught us the tricks so that we might replicate her success.
She listened to all my questions and gave logical unbiased advice based on how we were as parents .
She was also able to pick out personality traits in L that allowed her to advise on different tools that would help us with her behaviour .
Rosemary is worth the weight in gold - if you are knackered , frustrated or have any worries about your baby this is a great way to get tailored sound help that works"

'We were at our wits end when we hired Rosemary to help wean our 4 month old baby girl from the breast to the bottle. We had tried various methods ourselves, but to no avail. Rosemary went beyond the call of duty making an arduous journey through heavy snow to come to our rescue. She must have been aware of our desperation and gave up her weekend just before Christmas to help us. We had a very stubborn baby who had refused all attempts to take the bottle but on the morning that our daughter awoke, Rosemary sent us on our way and furnished us with updates upon the hour. Within 4 hours she had performed a miracle and we were summoned home to a very calm, relaxed atmosphere with our daughter happily feeding from the bottle. Rosemary stayed for the rest of the day and night and left the following afternoon after imparting a plethora of advice from her years as a nanny/maternity nurse. All advice, be it practical or just plain logical, was greatly received and used. We cannot recommend Rosemary enough. She is professional to the core and is a welcome addition to your family.'

Rosemary has a positive can-do attitude to life, and a gift for problem-solving. When I had my son, my first child, I had many questions and concerns: was I holding him correctly? Which cries were normal and which not? How would I know when to stop breast-feeding and go onto other types of food? Rosemary was able to help me with all of these questions, and many others. She really put my mind at rest and helped me to focus on my main job, being a Mum.
My son is now five years old, and I still seek advice from Rosemary on subjects such as child development and behaviour.

Rosie is quite simply a miracle worker. She came to us when our 6 month old son, T, needed to be taught how to drink from a bottle. I was preparing to go back to work after maternity leave and was extremely nervous about leaving him for long days without being fed.
We had already spent months trying every technique in the book and had failed to get T drinking from a bottle. Realising that we needed professional help, we asked around and Rosemary was recommended by friends who had experienced similar problems.
Rosemary came for a visit to observe T feeding and quickly worked out that he had an incorrect latch – over the next two days she was able to correct it and get him used to the taste and feel of milk from a bottle.
We often think back to Rosemary’s visit, how worried we were, and how much our life has changed for the better as a result. ‘Pre-Rosemary’, not only was he refusing the bottle, but I was also having to feed him every 2 hours or so during the night. I’ve now happily adjusted to (occasional) nights of uninterrupted sleep while T gets his night feeds from his daddy. Thanks Rosemary

Rosemary came to see me when my daughter was around 3 weeks old. I had had pretty much no sleep and was struggling with breastfeeding and had the baby blues. The first thing Rosemary did was to get me to write a list of all of my concerns and then we went through them one by one. What I discovered was that there wasn't necessarily a 'right way' of doing things and trial and error was often the key. She showed me different ways of holding my daughter to feed her and taught me that instinct was often the best way to go. I realised I wasn't the bad mother than I felt I was and that both me and my daughter were learning together. Rosemary helped me with my confidence and we went shopping together and I fed my daughter out of the house for the first time with her. She was (and still is) always on the end of the phone and we often meet for coffee to catch up. I really felt that she cared and that for her the job didn't finish when she left the house. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needed a bit of extra support and no one should be too proud to ask for a little help.

Rosemary has been exceptional in walking us through the nitty gritty and all the nuances of a new born - first time parenting could be a Herculean task but she made it so easy that has enabled us to operated at ease. We had a specific set of questions / clarifications ahead of Rosemary’s arrival which always help and in addition Rosemary’s practical tips saves us lot of time be it baby bottle feeding or gadget purchases to weaning stage preparations - dos and donts. Definitely she is a star!
We wanted to be able to introduce the bottle for some feeding while continuing to breastfeed but our daughter was refusing. Rosemary gave really clear and practical advice, walking through steps we can take and explaining the theory behind it. She was empathetic and not forceful in how she approached the advice and was very proactive and supportive as we resolve, achieving good results over an admittedly difficult weekend and then into the next week. All the way through, she recognised our agency while supporting our needs, which is just what you need, placing the emphasis on advice rather than making you feel you’re mismanaging or making bad decisions. Thank you!
Our second child is six months old and has always refused the bottle, resulting in my wife breastfeeding 24/7 without any rest bite. After months of trying different techniques, bottles, temperatures, teats and going down the google rabbit hole, we were introduced to Rosemary. She came over to our house and her friendly demeanour and wealth of knowledge put us at ease instantly. She stayed over at our home for a couple of nights and with her calming presence and persistence, managed to get our daughter used to taking the bottle. My wife can finally get some rest as I use the bottle on Mimi. We are forever grateful for Rosemary and cannot praise and recommend her enough. If you have any queries at all, I guarantee she can help
Our 5 month old started refusing the bottle just as my wife was planning her return to work. We thought we had tried everything and reached out to Rosemary for help. Rosemary took the time to listen to our situation and generously gave me advice on how to change my approach. After a few days respite from trying the bottle (to "reset") we sat down for the first bottle of the day and amazingly our baby took to it like it was the most natural thing in the world, followed by another three bottles that day. Rosemary's advice really helped and her confidence definitely rubbed off on me. We now do a bottle every morning and I'm confident that I'll be able to feed our baby when my wife returns to work.
We are very grateful for Rosemary's advice and would definitely recommend speaking to her if you are struggling to give a bottle.
I cannot thank Rosemary enough! With her guidance our 6 month old daughter O went from total bottle refusal to taking expressed bottles within 24 hours and then hydrolysed formula (which smells really funky!) within 72 hours.
Her instructions were always calm and clear, and she was always available on the end of the phone. Plus they really worked! After nearly 2 months of trying various bottles and teets with no success I still can’t quite believe it!! Thanks so much again!!
