About Me
Hi, My name is Jacquie and I live in Crowthorne, Berkshire. I work as a one to one English tutor for 2 pupil referral units in
Berkshire and Surrey teaching gcse English 4 days per week.
I also work as a private tutor.
I have excellent references available from local families who have hired me long term and also current families.
I have been teaching since 1997 and have also worked internationally as a Governess/Tutor, and a nanny, maternity nurse and sleep trainer, so am used to all types of settings and children.
I just want to clarify that I have a current dbs on the update service and always carry the original with me when working. My references, certificates, degree and dbs are available on request.
In the last 4 years, I have taught a Russian girl age 6, 3 times a week English, and she is now thriving in confidence and speaking it very well, despite not being able to speak in English when we started. I also look after the 1 year old and 7 year old on occasions to help the family out.
I also teach 2 sets of twins Maths and English Ks1 and all of them have made great progress and have been with me for 15 months. I had a referral from one of the families and have been teaching triplets age 7, for 2 years now and English gcse to 2 students.
