About Me
Welcome to Hanna’s House.
We are two experienced Ofsted Registered childminders in Aveley. I co-childmind with Natasha (can be found on here also) whom I have worked with for 6+years.
I am a qualified Early Years/Primary teacher with 15+ years experience and Natasha is a Level 3 Childcare Specialist who has run her own childminding business for 21 years.
After working together everyday for the last 6 years and having a blast together sharing our passion for early years education, we have decided to collaborate and work from just one setting- a purpose built playroom at my home.
We have a small, homely setting where your child will be kept safe and happy as well as educated in line with the Early Years curriculum. The cabin playroom is a fully insulated and heated, purpose built room in my garden. There is a spacious garden and children are safe to play freely inside the playroom or outside.
We put your child’s happiness and safety first in all we do.
I have 2 boys, an 12 year old and an 8 year old both in full time school and Natasha has a boy, 17, and a girl, 12.
‘Hanna’s House’ is a stones throw away from Kenningtons Primary Academy. We look after babies, toddlers and preschool aged children.
We can also provide holiday care if needed as well as temporary childcare in emergencies.

Between Natasha and I we have a teaching degree, Early Years and Primary (3-11) BA Ed and over 38 years experience.

Hanna and Tasha have had my little girl since she was 5 months old. It has been smooth sailing from day 1, baby settled in very quickly and having pick up and drop off for the first 6 months until I passed my test was so helpful. My girl has the best days and tells me all about the interesting things they've done or what they have learned that day. Always very excited to be going to Hannas' house and seeing her best friends. Hanna and tasha are very dedicated to their role and are fantastic with all children. My older (SEN) child used to go to hanna in the holidays and always has a brilliant time, and is well looked after. I get photos of my girls activities and adventures which is a treasure . Cannot ever fault hanna or tashas care or services. Their own children and partners are wonderful, too ❤️ I would highly recommend Hanna and Tasha.

Very friendly and welcoming. My son loved to go to Hanna's house. Everyday they had different activities. And he learnt so much. Reasonably priced. Great location. Highly recommend.

Hanna has been looking after my two boys since September. My boys are initially really shy with new people and I was worrying about them settling in but they have settled in with Hanna fantastically and have even started to ask to go to her house, which is a great sign. She has made them feel welcome into her home and always sends me photos of them having a great time whilst they are waiting for me to collect them. I feel at ease when they are with Hanna as I know they are settled and enjoying their time there and even when one of them are upset Hanna always finds a way to distract them and make them happy again. Overall I am really happy so far and highly recommend Hanna to other worried mums who are struggling at the thought of leaving their children with a stranger.

Hanna’s house is very friendly with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Hanna makes sure the needs of the children are met where they feel safe and loved.
Both of my children have attended Hanna’s where they have participated in days out, play groups, arts and crafts and imaginary play amongst other things. Hanna has years of experience as a Nursery teacher and I feel happy leaving my children in her care as I know their needs will be met as she will go above and beyond to let them reach their full potential.
I fully recommend Hanna’s house :-)
