About Me
My name is Susanne, I am an Ofsted Registered childminder, I have three children of my own, aged 31,27 and 23 and I am married to a chef. We also have a lovely dog (Bella age 7)who loves the children very much.
During my care, I enjoy taking the children to toddler groups, childminder drop in groups, soft play areas and different parks. We like to go outside every day even in the rain, as long as the children is dressed appropriate, and the children all loved playing In the rain. I also have a lot of childminding friends where we often get together for play dates, and loves doing planed activities together. In addition to that, we also go to baby bounce and rhyme groups and frequently visit local library’s, and many outdoor play areas too, whilst also encouraging learning through play. Singing and dancing to different music.
In my setting I have various different toys suitable for children of all ages, books, games, puzzles etc and I provide lots of arts and crafts and we enjoy Baking too.
I love looking after the children very much, we have lots of fun.
I have been an Ofsted Registered childminder for 26 years and I am originally from Denmark. I came over to England at the age of 19 to be an au pair, and stayed in this position for a year. After that I became a nanny, and stayed with one particular family for 10 years. After having my own children, I decided to continue this profession but in my own home as a childminder.
I have a full clean driving licence, I am Paediatric First Aid trained and keep up to date with all of the relevant courses.

Susanne is simply the best childminder in the area and we could've never asked for a better one. My son (who is now 6) has been in her care since he was 1 and he absolutely adores her. He loves going there, literally skipping his way to her house and got very fond of her family too, as well as the other children she looks after.
Susanne has a wealth of experience in childcare and the development of children, she is lots of fun and makes the days a good experience for the kids. She goes the extra mile with taking them to special outings in half term eg, farms, bowling, cinema, pumpkin farm etc...
I would highly recommend her to anyone, she's great!

My daughter has been under Suzanne's care since she was 11 months and loves her two days a week with Suzanne.
Her home is a wonderful environment for my daughter with always lots going on to keep her stimulated.
Not a day goes by when they are not out and about and I would not hesitate to recommend Suzanne as she has made the transition of returning to work very easy.
Suzanne is professional, flexible, friendly and easy going and my daughter is settled and happy in her care.
