Outstanding - fun, caring, reliable childminder

Becca has cared for our son since November 2023, when I returned to work following maternity leave when he was 14 months old. I found the idea of leaving him heartbreaking and I searched for nearly a year for childcare I was happy with - visiting nurseries, interviewing nannies and meeting around 25 childminders. My Mum was a childminder when I was growing up so I knew what I was looking for and it seemed impossible to find. But as soon as I met Becca I knew she was the one. She provides our son with a happy, nurturing environment and he loves his time with her and his friends. We are always hugely impressed with the wide range of equipment, books, activities and exciting outings she plans and our son has learnt so many new things. He spends plenty of time outdoors enjoying physical exercise. Becca works in partnership with us and respects our preferences. She also works closely with another lovely fellow childminder so our son benefits from socialising with a wider group a couple of times a week, while enjoying a close connection with Becca and the nurturing environment of her home. The children don’t watch tv which we love and she has a fish tank and a child-friendly dog so our son can learn to be comfortable with and care for animals. Becca is experienced, hard working, reliable and flexible with us. Her communication about our son’s eating, nappies, activities etc is excellent. She’s the gold standard of child care providers and we are so happy we found her. If you’re looking for childcare and in the same pickle that I was in, call off the search, I’ve already done the research for you! I’ve searched high and low and Becca is the best.

Outstanding childminder

I called on Rebecca for last minute Easter half term cover and she fitted us in straight away. My son is 13 months old and I was a little nervous to drop him off to a new setting however within minutes of me leaving I recieved photos of Vin playing with another little boy in Rebecca's care and by the end of his first day I had a collection of photos and updates as to where and what they had been doing. My son was taken out every day to somewhere new including the farm and an aquatics centre. Educational games/tasks being undertaken and lots of love and fuss was evident. A 5 star service from a loving and knowledgeable professional. Would highly recommend.

5 star childminder, very happy parent

I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to sending my kids to any type of childcare especially when they are babies.

I intended to put my son in either a nursery or childminder when he is one years old so I started to look early and as soon as I found Becca she had everything I was looking for and I decided to start my son early (he was 5 months) part time with Becca.

It’s only been a few months and Becca has been absolutely amazing, my son is a breast fed baby and wouldn’t take bottle so I got no breaks, but with Becca he drinks from the bottle and eats well, he’s so happy when he sees Becca and he loves her dog he’s so friendly with the kids plus it’s a bonus as we love dogs but unfortunately can’t have one where I live so it’s lovely my son gets to be around and play with buddy weekly.

She’s very good at organising activities, she’s developed a strong routine with my son and always checks in with me to make sure my needs are being met, I get lots of photos sent to me, updates and she goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Becca she’s the best childminder Iv had.

And the room she uses for the kids is amazing, beautifully decorated light and airy with lots of toys, access to a lovely big garden and it’s so peaceful and calm it’s like a home away from home for the kids. Even my oldest son loves coming with me to pick up baby brother so he can play in the childminding room lol

Lovely childminder

Becca has been caring for our twin boys (2.5 years old) one day a week for around 4-5 months now. She’s been fantastic. One of our boys has a couple of serious food allergies and Becca has dealt with those amazingly well and has been incredibly accommodating (and done lots of her own research which has been really reassuring to us as anxious parents). Becca is really good at arranging activities that the boys have loved - visiting new outdoor settings (that we’ve since visited as a family) and arranging arts and crafts exercises. The boys relish seeing Becca each week and we’ve looked to extend the time that Becca will be caring for the boys.

A brilliant and very caring childminder

Becca has been looking after my 15 month old son three days a week since November 2021. She is very caring, dedicated, enthusiastic and organised. Becca has really supported my son to settle well with her and does various activities, both indoors and outdoors, with him. He really enjoys his time with Becca and we are very happy with, and grateful for, the excellent standard of care she provides to him.

Absolutely fantastic Nanny

Becca worked for me for about 2.5 years as a Nanny - she looked after my daughter from 6 months old along with a friends 6 month old son. I cannot rate Becca highly enough. She is reliable, conscientious, flexible, hardworking and brilliant with children. My daughter absolutely loved having Becca look after her.
