About Me
Hello, my name is Kerry and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder living in Penenden Heath Maidstone. I have 2 children, Thomas 22 and Leah Rose 18.
I provide a caring , fun and stimulating environment offerring a wide range of activities including arts, crafts, messy play and baking.I also attend several toddler groups and visit play areas, parks , farms and lots of day trips especially during the summer months.I am a member of Leeds Castle, Kent Life and the Hop Farm.
I deliver the EYFS and keep learning journeys and a daily contact diary on all 0-5 children in my care.
I have completed my NVQ Level 3 diploma.
I am also eligable to accept free funding for 2 and 3 year olds.
I have 2 apprentices work for with me and I am therefore able to care for 9 children under the age of 5.
My Experience
I have two children of my own which has provided me with lots of hands on experience. In addition to this I have previously worked with children as a party organizer, taking care of up to 30 children at a time.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Diploma in homebased childcare
I hold a current First Aid certificate
I have completed a food hygenie certificate
I have completed a safeguarding children certificate
I have completed my NvQ Level 3
I am very keen to continue studying to complete further courses and gain further qualifications,
My Availability
I am available Mondays,Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 7.30am to 5.30
I currently do a school run to Sandling school each day
I am happy to offer before school and after school care .
I currently take 4 weeks holiday a year and always ensure that I give plenty of notice to ensure alternative arrangements can be made.
