Hi There ; I'm a ofsted registered childminder Based in Coulsdon, just off Chipstead valley Rd ::
I have been childminding for 17 years now , which I love , I was Graded Good on
my last ofsted inspection ,
i offer a fun and loving happy & safe home enviroment ,where all children are included and treated as part of our family .your child will learn through play with lots of indoor and outdoor activities which are all educational , Arts and crafts, cooking ;painting ;dressing up . role play , games and puzzles .and story time . I. also go out daily to toddler groups ; stay and play ,soft play , , and the local Library
I’m out Daily at parks & open spaces , Day trips , in school holidays such as Godstone farm / Seaside Trips
i have a large garden with ,slides ; ride ons , sand and water play & big play castle & play house ,. .
I. am a mum of 2, a daughter aged 26. and a son aged 18 yrs old : My own two children are very ,happy , loving , and welcoming to all children in my care ., and both are out at work full time during the working Day.
i have been childminding for 17 years now and i love my job , working with children is very rewarding has they learn new things and words each day . and im still learning new things too from them , as every day is different . .
i live in coulsdon , just off chipstead valley road , walking distance to local train station (woodmansterne ) and a regular bus route into croydon , also ample parking for parents . i have excellent experience and excellent refrences from previovs parents and current parents and are avaliable to read on request, .
i keep updated with all my childcare training . i follow the EYFS framework for children under 5 . i also provide child progress folders to keep parents up to date with there childs daily activties and progress .,,for parents to read when requested ..
Also photos are sent throughout the day via ( W/APP ) to Ensure , you can see there Happy and having fun Throughout there Day .
I. provide all healthy ., drinks and snacks and fresh fruit daily . . Parents provide there child’s packed lunch ,, But I can do if Required :: At a fee of £4.00
My local school is Chipstead valley primary ,And I provide After school pick ups and cv nursery ,i will pick up from others if local to me And if I can Accommodate at the time .. so if you would like to see where all the fun is give me a call . My home is smoke free .
We have 2 cats. , but they love to be outside most days
My Experience
Mum of two , Daughter aged 26 yrs old and a son whos 18 yrs old .. i am from a large family and have had lots of exprience with children , including younger siblings , as well as my nieces and nephews , .and younger cousins , and close friends children . from birth upwards .
My Qualifications
paediatric first aid , NVQ level 3 in childcare & B tec level 3 in childrens care , and learning development , (chip ) child induction programe , child development , safeguarding levels 1 & 2 , food hygiene , healthy eating , look whos learning 1&2 , getting it right for boys .course EYFS observation & planning . 2yr check course ,letters and sounds , developing phonological awareness . child tracking, & childminder practise guidance for Sencos ,I have a full CRB checks and i am fully insured . I Attend courses regulary to keep my practice up to date and relevant in the ages of children i care for .
My Availability
1 partime. & 1 full time vacancies holiday cover ,Emergency cover ,
MYHours of work are. 7.30 - 5.30pm . i pick up From chipstead valley primary school . , can do others if local to me .
A full day charge of £75..00 of Hours worked 5 hours of care or more

Loretta is simply amazing, she has looked after my son from the age of 1 to 2.5 years old, and she has given him the best care that any child could possibly need. She is immensely attentive to our son’s needs, she keeps us involved with all his daily activities continually throughout the day, and she really has increased his learning and development. My son has eczema and allergies and she has really been sensitive and caring. I love the fact that she takes them out for daily activities, but also encourages learning and free play in a very safe environment. I am so sad to be leaving her as my son has just done so well and he has thrived in so many ways. I could not ask for a better childminder.

We have been so grateful to have had Loretta look after our little princess! She kept us updated everyday with lovely photos! Loretta does many activities with the kids which includes going to the farms, parks, flower fields, soft play and so so much more.
If you are looking for the perfect person to give you that confidence that your little one is being well looked after then look no further! Loretta is amazing 🤩

Our little girl started with Loretta a year ago - Loretta was the only childminder we saw; we had such a good feeling when we went to see her and even though our daughter wasn't walking at the time, I could really picture her toddling round Loretta's home & garden.
Loretta was so patient with settling Luna in, who did struggle at first (which we did expect, being a lockdown baby and it was a big change). Now we pull up outside and she goes "'Retta!" before we get out of the car and she walks straight in, which is so nice and reassuring.
They do so much; visits to the park, playgroups, crafty activities at home, trips out to places like Wakehurst and regular visits to Godstone Farm. Our girl gets so much out of her days there and my mum and sister, who both work in childcare, are always impressed with what Loretta does with her...and may pinch some craft ideas!
We get photos throughout the day, which are always so lovely to see. Luna gets so involved in everything and it's lovely seeing her enjoying herself and getting stuck in - it has been so nice seeing this develop as well over the last year.
We are always telling people how good Loretta is and we really couldn't recommend her enough.

If I could shout from the rooftops how amazing loretta is I would, I moved slightly away from the area and have kept my children at the setting as they are so settled and she's just perfect.
I've been sending my little ones to her since 2017, 1st with my little girl who's been with her since 6 months old and then with my latest addition in 2020 I couldn't imagine anyone else looking after my pride and joys, my son was a difficult baby as having been with me throughout a pandemic he was clingy but loretta made it so fun and exciting he runs right in.
I get sent pictures of all the things they get up to throughout the day and the adventures they go on from the parks, woodland walks and trips out. She makes sure there is lots of stimulating play with different textures, smells and fun activitys lots of paintings and works of art.
I get updates with their development and progression, she always makes an effort at special occasions. My children love attending loretta its a home from home environment.
with my eldest leaving for primary school in September she's got her ready and I know she will be so excited to go back in the school holidays.
Loretta is always there for me and my children, that's why I can't recommend her enough she's AMAZING!

My Son (6.5 yo) and I think that Loretta has been fantastic for the past 2.5 years and I'm sure she will continue to be going forwards looking after him. She has helped me nurture him through difficult periods and been wonderfully flexible when trains or Dad goes wrong. She is loving and professional, with the child at the centre. Holiday periods involve outside activities and a variety of stimuli to keep them engaged. I feel that I/we am very lucky to have found her and her lovely family

My daughter and I both love Loretta.. It was my first time sorting out childcare and had never really considered a childminder until I met Loretta. She always makes the effort to send me photos throughout the day, which is so nice. My daughter now cannot wait for me too drop her off usually running in without even a look over her shoulder, which for me is everything I could ask for. They are always out having fun at different softplays or parks. I would highly recommend Loretta!!!

Having had challenged with our previous childminder, my wife and I struck gold with finding Loretta! We've had her for over 18 months and though both my wife and I work and have stressful jobs, having the kids being looked after by her has made our lives a lot easier. She does drop off and pick ups for my two girls at the local school Chipstead Valley Road (and previously Coulsdon Nursery) and my kids love her. She takes pics and shares with us on Whatsapp. She never seems stressed at all which means my kids always seem at ease with her. Can't find a fault with her!

Loretta gave my son really fantastic care in a loving family environment. He was so happy with her and really enjoyed going. Loretta is professional, friendly and approachable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. I was given regular updates, kept informed and it was fantastic to be confident and relaxed in the knowledge that my son was well cared for. My son enjoyed lots of fun outings and exciting activities every day. He will miss his time with Loretta and I can’t thank her enough for looking after him so well.

I recall the first day we met Loretta to discuss childminding our son.
Naturally we were a bit apprehensive as parents but our son's time with Loretta has been an exciting and wonderful experience to say the least.
If for any reason you have any doubts about leaving your child with a stranger, be assured that this will not be the case with Loretta.
From the moment you meet with her for an induction, your mind is put at ease from her thorough upkeep of records, her secure subject knowledge of what an Early Years Setting should be and her legal understanding of safeguarding measures put in place when working with children.
Our son's weekly experience with Loretta was educationally stimulating and enriching. Receiving photo updates of his progress throughout the day via social media was reassuring for any parent.
It is obvious Loretta has a love for working with children and this is evident in some of the planned activities she provides, for example, Art and Craft, visits to the farm, kids space zones etc.
Loretta is not just a normal childminder as she goes above and beyond in her provision to make your child feel happy and safe. Her facilities are outstanding and she ensures that from the moment your child is collected or dropped off, he/she has had the most wonderful experience through her care and nurture.

My son is three and has been going to Loretta in the holidays for a couple of years. He was comfortable straight away and Loretta kept me updated with pictures of his activities throughout the day which she still does! He has made a very close bond with all the children there and no matter how long he has had away from Loretta's he is confident and excited to go back. He always comes back with fun stories and special hand made presents and has many lovely outings .
I wouldn't have him with any one else.
