…OUTSTANDING OFSTED INSPECTION..
My name is Carol, I’ve been childminding for 14 years. I am Montessori trained which I apply in my setting. I’ve been living in Bournemouth since 2008. I’m originally from Venezuela. (I speak Spanish and Italian too) I live with husband and two children age 17 and our home educated 9 years old daughter. We also have a1 year old golden retriever. We live in a secure neighbourhood.
I follow the EYFS. With the children we do cooking, gardening, yoga, meditation, art, play music and learn Spanish, Italian and some BSL. We visit places like museums, parks, playgroups, natural reserves etc.
We accept childcare voucher, 2s and 3 years old funding and tax free childcare.

Carol does an amazing job, she puts all her heart and passion into what she does. We were very lucky to find her thanks to a parent's recommendation. Our daughter was quite reserved and didn't know any English. Carol took her under her wing and took care of her. Our daughter exceeded our wildest expectations, she began to open up to others and became curious about everything. We like the fact that Carol approaches each child individually, which allows us to notice the potential in the child. What's more, it's great that he organizes trips, e.g. to the playground, park or museum, where children can discover the world. Let us also add that Carol's greatest asset is that she is Montessori Childminder, which is what we cared about the most. Carol is extremely nice and warm. We are glad that Carol accepts and respects our choices and values as a family, which are extremely important to us. I DO NOT HESTITATE TO RECOMMEND HER AS SHE IS AN AMAZING PERSON.

Carol's work with the children is so outstanding - I venture a guess noone does it so well in the whole of Bournemouth area.
She is not just kind and loving towards the children but being Montessori trained and having infinite levels of patience she is able to pass on knowledge in a gentle, yet effective way.
Our daughter has been coming to Carol's for over 2.5 years now and over this time has grown to love her like she is part of her family. The children eat together, play together and learn in the Montessori way with all the tools that are required for it to be effective.
And the added bonus - being Venesualian with Italian background, Carol speaks to the children in Spanish and Italian - so they learn these languages as well, at the time when learning is most effective.
We looked at other childminders in town - Montessori ones mainly, but noone had the right energy and kidness about her the way Carol does.
If I could give her more stars I would, and every child lucky enough to have parents who want the best for their children would love joining Carol's Montessori Childminding!

There are no words for how grateful we are to have found Carol. She goes above and beyond for the children she looks after and makes them all feel safe and encouraged. They have ample opportunities to try new things like instruments and play new (educational!) games. They often enjoy trips to the library or other interesting outdoor places. My daughter has thrived and really enjoyed her (almost) 3 years at carols. I can honestly say that most of my daughters progress with writing and reading (already!) is down to Carol.
Carol has made learning and childcare fun for the children and I genuinely feel my daughter thinks of carols as a home from home. We can never thank Carol enough for how she’s helped us raise our daughter. We will REALLY miss her now that our daughter is about to start school. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS CAROL. Besitos!

I was recommended to her by a another parent who currently attends Carol's. She has been taking very good care of my daughter for the last 2 years. She has done so much for her that I will be forever grateful for the learning, fun times she has given her. Carol is kind, caring, calm, knowledgeable and very passionate about her work. My daughter has simply loved going to her. I know when I drop her off she is safe and well. Carol is an excellent communicator and I would not hesitate to recommend her. The list of things she provides children is endless and everything is done at the right time for that child. I good not be happier with the childminder that was right for our daughter.

We’ve been sending our daughter to Carol for the past two years, and it has truly been one of the best decisions we’ve made. Coming from an Italo-Brazilian background, our daughter didn’t speak English when she first started. However, thanks to Carol’s fluency not only in English and Spanish but also in Italian, the transition was incredibly smooth. This linguistic ability was a key factor in helping our daughter adapt quickly and comfortably.
Carol is not just a childminder; she is a deeply caring and dedicated professional. Her Montessori training shines through in every aspect of her care. Our daughter feels completely at home with Carol, and we have total peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and loving hands. Carol respects our values and choices as a family, which means the world to us.
Beyond just learning English, numbers, and letters, our daughter is thriving in so many ways under Carol’s guidance. She genuinely loves being there, and we couldn’t be happier with the progress she’s made. Carol’s nurturing approach and her commitment to each child’s individual needs make her truly exceptional. Carol has looked after my son for few months and due to a school starting, we had to say goodbye. I cannot express how happy my son has been in the care of Carol. And I have been happy knowing that he has been well looked after in a loving, exciting and stimulating environment. Carol is full of energy and is very caring and provides a loving warm environment at home as well taking them out on outings days to various different places. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her!

Carol os taking care of my daughter for almost an year now and I could not think or find anyone better than her. I trust in her decisions, and this is the most important thing for me, as she is with the most precious gift God gave to me, my little daughter.
As a professional, she is very dedicated and work very well practical things as behaviour. I am more than happy with her.
Her house is spotless and me and my wife were very lucky to have found her! Thank you Carol!!!

Carol has looked after my son during Mar 2018-Dec 2018 and I can confidently say that she was the best Childminder I have seen. I have searched quite some time for someone when I decided to go back to work. However so many places I visited and many Childminders I met was not right for my son. Some was careless, some let kids watch TV, some didn’t let me provide my own food, some was unhygienic. When I met Carol I knew she was the perfect choice, she looked after and loved my son as of her own, she had very calm attitude, spoke clearly with kids, tought him manners and many more. I would recommend Carol to anyone.
