About Me
Hello! My name is Sarah Dunlop. I have been a registered Ofsted childminder for 13 years and live with my husband and 3 children in West End Woking. Our home is loving, full of life and fun. Children are warmly welcomed into our home and we strive to make the children feel at home, happy, safe and important .
Our home is open plan with a spacious living area, play area, kitchen and a large garden area to run about in. I have relevant up to date certificates and a member of Pacey.
I daily attend play groups, childminder sessions as well as local trips to the parks walks and discovery centres. I like to practice a forest learning approach to learning where nature and discovery are encouraged.
I follow the EYFS framework and use Tapestry to record observations and their development. I really love looking after children, watching them grow, helping them on their way, being there for them.
Children are so precious so I feel really blessed to be involved in their growth and journey.
I currently care for children in the early years full time, some 5 days and others one day depending on what parents requirements are. I absolutely love caring for babies, little ones and children of all ages so if you are interested please let me know. I'm very happy to help with any questions you may have.
I received a good on my last inspection and details of my inspection you can find on the Ofsted registered site- look for my name. I am able to receive early years funding. I also will take childcare vouchers as well as the free entitlement.

My Experience
I have cared for over 15 children in my time. I have cared for all ages.
All children are special, growing and developing at their own time. They are all wonderful and I love my job. I feel very honoured to have the chance to care, support, nuture children in my home and help develop children's learning. I have a very loving home environment where all children are valued and part of our "extended family".
My Qualifications
I have all relevant up to date certificates required, registration, first aid, food and hygiene, DBS cleared, Pacey insured, all the necessary to be an Ofsted childminder and regulary attend seminars and day courses. I am looking into starting my level 3 in childcare as well as looking into learning sign language.
My Availability
I have a spaces available from December 2019 for after school children places and a possible full time space from June/July 2020 . I work all year apart from a summer holiday (if I am lucky!) and Christmas. I don't work bank holiday's however I can if needed. I work full time Monday to Friday. My hours can be from 7.30am if needed to 6.00pm - 6.30 pm if required.

My Fees

Food-
Babies and weaning children: I do not charge but will ask parents to provide powder milk and weaning food. Weaning can be a fun but anxious time for parents and therefore I would like parents to feel happy with the food they are introducing. Discussions and progress will be on going between us until we reach the time when your child is eating a full wide range of meals.

As one of Sarah’s current families, I can honestly say that choosing her as our childminder was the best decision I could have made - she is incredible, as is her whole family who really make you feel part of the family! Sarah goes above and beyond in everything she does and I trust her implicitly with our boy!
Despite us moving house shortly after starting with Sarah to almost 15 mins away, we have stayed with her (been with her for 2.5 years now since my boy was 10 months old and will be staying with her for our second baby too) as I just don’t believe I’d find anybody as good as her elsewhere!

Sarah has been looking after my son, James since he was 11 months old. I was absolutely dreading going back to work so we implemented regular settling in sessions a few months before he was due to start with Sarah full time. Sarah is welcoming, patient, caring and generous. It is obvious that children under her care are looked after as if they were her own. She goes to great lengths to plan educational activities on a daily basis and my son often returns home with arts & crafts (which take pride of place on the fridge!)
The children have the luxury of a spacious house and garden, as well as a fully equipped play room. She will often take the children out to local activities such as childminding group where they benefit from socialisation with other children. My son’s development over the last couple of months has been incredible as a result.
Sarah and her family have been so welcoming. My son has a lovely bond with Sarah and her own children. My husband and I feel very lucky to have found Sarah and incredibly blessed that James has her in his life.

Sarah is amazing, she is so good with our little girl Ava and couldn't do more for us. Definitely feels part of our extended family!

Sarah looked after my daughter from when she was 9 months to 4 years old and I highly recommend her. My daughter who is now 5 had and still has (as we still regularly see Sarah) a lovely bond. Sarah has a lovely way about her and it's obvious to see how much she adores children and will put everything in to making sure they have her love. Sarah has great imagination and would often make up games, arts and crafts with the children which they loved to be part of. She has a wonderful spacious house and large garden where there are lots for the children to learn and play with. Sarah is one of the most kind, caring and thoughtful people I know who I and my daughter are very lucky to have had be part of her growing up.

My son of 2 years have been with Sarah for a year now and I am so pleased with her. From the beginning she made me feel comfortable leaving him and took so much care and effort to settle him in the beginning stages. He absolutely loves going to play at Sarah and being part of her loving family. His development has been amazing as well. Sarah is such a loving, caring and patient individual, I feel very lucky to have her in my son's life. I highly recommend her!!
