I offer emergency/short term placements, part- time care,afterschool care and holiday places
Now offering funded places for 2, 3 & 4 year olds. I am an OFSTED REGISTERED, a member of pacey( formally NCMA) AND BELONG TO A QUALITY ASSURED CHILDMINDING NETWORK. I hold all the relevant qualification required + more.
I am a mum to two grown up boys
I provide a very reasonably priced service at a high standard. I care for children from 3 months upwards, but have taken babies from as young as 6 weeks. I have experience of twins and children with special needs.
I offer many extras included in my service, such as zoo trips, cinema & lots of other special days out (so no extra bills at the end of the month for you, as all this is included in your fees for you preschool children) I take the children to regular playgroups and socialise them within the community in which they live so many of the children they meet at playgroups will also be the children they go to school with
Included free of charge are all wipes, toiletries and nappy's for pre school children.
My facilities include a fully fenced play/growing area in a safe and secure rear garden with lots of outdoor play equipment including a play house and child friendly greenhouse to grow vegetables
Gated front garden to grow flowers and Front drive for safe drop of and collection of children.
I keep the children in an established routine as they would be if they were cared for their own parents at home.
we have a comfortable, welcoming home environment and new parents are always welcome to visit.
The children in my care are exposed to many new,exciting experiences & always go home content after having a fun filled day.
I also offer a weekend babysitting service (in your own home) to my minded children's parents, for when you have that special night out planned and want to ensure continuity of care for your child.

My Experience
working with children from all kinds all cultures, religions and backgrounds many different types of families including single parents and same sex parents. I have been a registered childminder for 22 years, I was previously a nannies for 2 years before i became registered as a childminder and I am a mum to two wonderful sons,who are now 31 year and 28 years old.
My Qualifications
ALL relevent qualifications as legally required by OFSTED, paediatric 1st aid, level 3 NVQ in childcare,learning and development.
Member of PACEY and insured.
My Availability
MONDAY - FRIDAY 7.30AM TO 6.15PM.
Before 7am by agreement only

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£6.50 per hour
Full days from £60 per day
Full time weekly fees may be offered at a 10% discounted rate in certain circumstances
Sibling discount of 10% may be offered under certain circumstances
NHS Dicount for Nurses
Holiday care offered at £7 per hour
School pick-ups flat daily fee of £10am, £18pm, or £25 for both am and pm
Free session for mums attending smear test appointments with proof of appointment

My Daughter has been coming to Mrs Starrs for almost a year (since she was 9months old) and we couldn'y of chosen better. She settled well from the start and loves all the groups and activities She does. Mrs Starrs has always been accomidating regarding our use of cloth nappies and our daughters regular medication and always has time to discuss the days activities.
I would reccomend this childminder to anyone and will certainly be sending any future children.

My son was cared for here from the age of 6 months to reception class full time. Since he has started school he still likes to go during the school holidays.
He has always been happy and well cared for in his time at this setting, and has made lots of friends of all ages and backgrounds. Mrs Starrs always has lots of activities going on, and a good daily routine. All his needs such as weaning, toilet training, help with reading and pencil control were all looked after.
I would thoroughly recommend this childminder.
