I was born in France and came in UK in 1991 as an Au Pair and was looking after 3 children. This was supposed to be for one year however I decided to stay in UK where I have been working since as a senior PA.
I stopped working as a PA after the birth of my daughter in December 2005 and as I am really enjoying motherhood and spending time with all her little friends I have decided to become a childminder.
I am a very out going person and like to spend a lot of time with the children doing activities (inside or outside). With the authorisation of the parents, I will take the children to various classess (playgroup, pottery, talking tots, or any activities done via our surestart centre). All documentation (registration / liability insurance, ect..) will be shown to you on your visit.
My Experience
I have been childminding for the past 15 years, started when my daughter was one year old.
I can childmind up to six children from 9 months old till 9 years old however no more than 3 under 5 years old at once to provide the best childcare. At the moment no preschool pick up and as from September 2022, 2 children after school. I have been looking after them since they were babies.
January 2022: I have two 2.5years old children (one boy and one girl). I have got a part time and full time vacancy.
My facilities are as followed:
Playroom, Garden, Outdoor Play, Music, Kitchen, Foreign Languages, Visits and outings, Walks (local park, etc.), Library, Toddler groups, Birdworld, Wisley, swimming.
French tuition available at no extra charge

I have not used Ginny's childminding services, but we approached Ginny during our search for childcare during lockdown and I wanted to write a review of our experience of learning about her setup. I communicated with Ginny through the app and she always wrote back quickly and with all the useful information needed. She was always friendly and very understanding during my pauses in my search when other events took my attention, and went out of her way to take and send photos of her space during lockdown. When restrictions eased and we met Ginny and her family we were equally impressed and she made us and our baby feel very welcomed. She has a lovely home, which was spotless and well organised, and a pretty garden too. After much thought we decided to explore the possibility of getting a nanny, but will definitely contact Ginny again if we are looking for a childminder in the future.
