About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder, with a DBS check. I have worked with children of all ages, for 37 years. I am a qualified Nursery Nurse (NNEB) with invaluable experience of child development. I have spent 17 years working in a primary school setting, as a Teaching Assistant.
I live in a semi-detached house in Edwalton, with my partner. I have two grown up children.
We visit soft play areas, toddler groups and childminding groups, we enjoy outdoor activities and try and get out most days as the outdoors has such positive effect on our emotional wellbeing.
My setting is safe and secure ready for children to explore .It is very important to me that children feel happy and safe in my setting.
My last three ofsted inspections were graded as outstanding and good.
I can offer Government funding for all children.
My ofsted number is EY363241.
I am also registered with Nottingham County Council Local Authority, and can claim your funding through here.
My Experience
I have worked with children in the nursery, Infant school and Junior school.
I have loads of experience of working with children that have special needs. I am a qualified Nursery Nurse (NNEB) with 37 years experience of working with all ages of children. I have completed a university course in 'Early Years.' This certificate is called 'Specialist Teaching Assistant Certificate.' (STAC) I have also assessed NVQ students in Childcare and Education.
I have had lots of experience with the 'Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum' (EYFS) which has been invaluable during my childminding buisness.

My Availability
My availability is Mon to Fri 7.30am-6.00pm, can offer additional hours.
I have an ofsted certificate for over night care.
I can collect from Wellin Lane Pre-School Edwalton and provide wrap around care.
