About Me
Hello I'm Dee and I'm an Ofsted Registered Childminder for over 9 years now originally from New Zealand living in East Molesey but working also in Thames Ditton.
I have a 9 year old son who attends Thames Ditton Junior School year 5.
I have a lovely large garden with lots of room for running around and playing.
The children have their own allotment area in the garden for growing various vegetables & fruit over the seasons.
We also have 3 lovely cheeky cuddly indoor Guinea Pigs called Elvis, Elton and Freddie.
I aim to provide a loving, stimulating setting in my home for all children and have a wide selection of toys and resources for all ages both inside and out.
We enjoy lots of free play and the children have a dedicated playroom where we also do various organised adult led activities including painting, various crafts, reading & nursery rhyme time.
Coming from New Zealand I have a real love of the outdoors and love spending time with the children in various parks, river walks, National Trust Gardens and also enjoy a wide variety of local playgroups in both East Molesey & Thames Ditton.
We have fortnightly visits to a local care home in Thames Ditton where the children do crafts and spend time with the residents and have built up lovely friendships.
I follow the EYFS for development and provide a daily whatsapp update & photos for children so you can follow what happens in your child's day whilst in my care.
My Experience
I have 5 years SEN experience and over 10 years of childcare experience from 4 month olds and up.

ICP Introduction to Childminding
Paediatric First Aid Course
Enhanced DBS certificate
Full Clean Driving License

My Availability
I currently pick up from Thames Ditton Infants and Thames Ditton Junior School so am unable to do pick up from any others schools at this time.
From September 2025 I will have a space available Monday to Thursday 8:30-5:30pm

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
£8.00per hour for EYFS children
£8.00 per hour for BEFORE/AFTER school
(I also offer a sibling discount of 50p per hour for BEFORE/AFTER school)
I accept all government funding in my setting.
For BEFORE/AFTER school children and EYFS I can provide an evening meal and snacks. However I prefer parents to send packed lunches for their children if possible.
