Hello Parents and Carers,
I hope you are all well.

My name is Rachel and I am a British, English speaking Career Nanny, Night Nanny, Post Natal Maternity Nurse and Baby & Child Sleep Consultant with over 15 years of professional childcare experience.
I have extensive experience working with newborns, premature infants, toddlers, twins, triplets and multiple aged siblings on a sole charge basis.

As a Post Natal Maternity Nurse/Night Nanny, my experience includes, but is not limited to:
Washing and sterilising bottles and other equipment such as breast pumps, nappy changing, bathing, implementing routines, helping babies through sleeping regressions, making up formula milk and safely handling breastmilk, feeding support with both; bottle and breastfeeding, settling back to sleep and soothing when waking upset, cuddles, comforting, swaddling, winding and help digesting feed, managing colic and reflux symptoms, administering medication, tummy time, encouraging healthy sleeping habits from newborn to aid sleeping through the night, maintaining the highest standard of hygiene at all times.

As a Baby & Child Sleep Consultant, I support parents with all sleep related queries. I teach the science behind sleep which includes sleep cycles and wake windows. I help to implement good sleeping habits and positive sleep associations from birth. As well as offering hands on support regarding sleep regressions and age appropriate sleep training.

I will also make suggestions for gadgets needed, such as: white noise machines, night lights, bottles, toys to support development etc.

My daily Nanny experience includes but is not limited to: Weaning; (confident in baby led) toilet training, sleep training, monitoring developmental milestones, age appropriate activities, attending local classes, fun activities at home, day trips, hosting and attending play dates, managing all nursery duties including: children’s laundry, cooking from scratch; healthy and nutritious meals and snacks, wardrobe management and keeping all areas used clean and tidy. I also enjoy prepping children for school by teaching phonics, learning how to read and write, letter and number recognition and formation and lots more.

I take pride in my work and maintain the highest standards of care throughout each family that I am honoured to support.
Children, from an early age have been a huge passion of mine. My natural motherly instinct and my caring, nurturing nature has enabled me to turn my passion into a career that I love and throughly enjoy.

All relevant documentation is available to view upon request. Documents include: valid first aid certificate, qualification certificates, DBS (update service) CV and written references.

I hold a full UK driving license and I have my own SUV car.
