About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and was registered in February 2008. I have been married since 2002 and have three wonderful children, my eldest girl is 19 my boy is 16 and my youngest little girl is 13. I enjoy being at home caring for my own children, and at the same time can offer a high quality of childcare for other children. I have plenty of space and equipment to provide rest areas separate to children playing. I plan lots of stimulating activities to enhance learning, and attend local toddler groups/library/visit local parks, etc. I have a lovely enclosed garden to ensure children get plenty of fresh air and exercise, with little tikes equipment!
My Experience
I started work in a private day nursery in 1997 and continued to work there for the next 10 and a half years, looking after children aged between 3 months to 5 years! I was the nursery nurse in a room with 3 staff and 11 children. My job was to run the room to a high standard and care for and provide/plan stimulating fun activities to ensure the children reached their maximum potential, in a happy and inviting, warm and caring environment!
I have just had my Ofsted inspection and been graded Good. You can find my report online.
My Qualifications
Once I finished high school, I attended Stockport College of further and higher education, where I achieved my Btec National Diploma in Nursery Nursing passing with Merits and Distinctions. Since then I have done various training including my SENCO, level 1, Safeguarding children, First aid and many more. My training is an ongoing process.
My Availability
I am available to work 7.30 -5.00
At the moment I have limited before and after school spaces, please get in touch as spaces go quickly.
I work term time as a lot of my parents are teachers and this has been their requirement. I will only be taking on children who require term time.

I currently charge £4.50 per hour and do before and after school.

Catrina is truly amazing. My little one leaves her this week to start school in September we are all so sad about this. Catrina has brought my precious girl on leaps and bounds and she wouldn’t be the little bright intelligent girl she is today without the help from this wonderful woman. She has treated my girl like her own and we are so very grateful. If you’re looking for childcare look no further you wont get anyone better ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much xxxxx

I never have to worry when sending my child (Ruby) to Catrina's i know she is looked after 100% like she was her own.
Ruby is so clever, confident, polite, caring and creative.
Homemade healthy food is served on a daily basis which Ruby loves.
Catrina is very caring towards all her children she looks after they all look very happy to be there.
I highly reccomend Catrina she is amazing and i can not thank her enough for taking care of Ruby.
She has come on leaps and bounds and i will be gutted when she starts school that she wont be spending all her days with her as will Ruby.
If you are looking for a child minder look no further this one is the best
