About Me
I have 2 children of my own, girl 18 years and boy, 21 years old.
I am a non-smoker. I have a Labrador who is 5yrs old and great with the children.
I am an OFSTED registered childminder and have been registered since the end of October 2008. I am also a member of PACEY.
I provide a fun and stimulating environment for the children in my care. I have an allotment in the village which I share with 2 other childminders. The children love helping out; growing fruit, veg and flowers; learning new skills and exploring all the different types of bugs they can find.
We socialise with other childminders to promote social skills and to make friendships.
To help keep the children fit and healthy we also go for walks around the village, have outdoor play and trips to the park.
Occasionally we go on outings to the garden centre, on the bus and to country parks.
Healthy eating is promoted and we occasionally go to the local shop for the children to choose and buy food.
My Experience
I have over 30 years experience as a qualified Nursery nurse. I qualified as an NNEB in 1991 and since then I have worked in various childcare settings as a mother’s help, Nanny, in a private day nursery and as a family support worker for Derby City Council. I have been childminding since the beginning of November 2008.
I was Inspected by ofsted in September 2024 and graded good.

My Availability
Normal working hours:
8am- 5.30pm mon- wed. Thursday 8-5pm.
I am able to offer 9 month, 2/3/4 year old funding and the 30hrs early education funding for those eligible. Funding is term time only.
Term time only care is also available.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
£6 per hour per child.
Lunch and snacks are £1.50 per day or can provide your own.
Hot evening meal available at £2.00
