About Me
Hello, my name is Selen.
I am a qualified Early Years Educator with an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Education and am registered with Ofsted.
I live with my husband, who is a vehicle technician, and our four sons aged 16, 14, 8, and 2. We also have a miniature poodle named Ace and three cats. We are a loving and active family who enjoy the outdoors and spending quality time together.
We are located just a 5-minute walk from public woodlands, providing wonderful opportunities for outdoor learning and exploration in all areas of development.
Nearby train stations include:
• Borough Green & Wrotham – 12 minutes’ drive
• Swanley – 14 minutes’ drive
• Otford – 10 minutes’ drive

About My Childcare Setting:
My setting is mainly child-led, allowing children to explore their interests and develop at their own pace. Each week, I introduce a new theme with a variety of daily activities including:
• Arts and crafts
• Forest walks and outdoor play
• Visits to local parks and farms
• Sensory and imaginative play
• A well-equipped playroom with toys for all ages
• A large, secure outdoor area for active play
We are a fun, friendly, and nurturing family, offering a safe and stimulating environment for your child to play, learn, and socialise.

Healthy Living:
I provide nutritious breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks, and I always involve the children in learning about:
• Where food comes from
• The importance of healthy eating
• How to take care of our bodies and well-being

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
For drop of and pickups children can only stay for a minimum of 2 hours a day 3 days a week and for my early years children (pre schoolers and babies) I do a minimum of 3 days per week - I currently have availability for a space 4 days a week Tuesday-Friday

Selen looks after our 10-month old son, and he is very happy. He eats well, sleeps well, and I am comfortable in the knowledge he is very well looked after.
Selen's setting is amazing, with lots of lovely toys, it's safe and welcoming.

Selene provides a beautiful, caring and safe place. My 18 mo girl adjusted so quickly. She is quite active and knows a lot about childcare. I could go to work without worrying about my daughter. Her place is clean and I can say my child felt at home whenever I dropped her. Highly recommend.

Both my children have been relaxed and comfortable while in Selen K’s care, which for me as a mum is extremely settling! She has so many fun activities for sensory play and learning!
Selen her self is an extremely lovely women! And is now the only person I would ask to babysit my children !! We’ve had great experiences with her and her childcare services. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

My son is always so happy when Selen is looking after him. He is telling me about the activities they have done together and how much they have had fun. He is delighted with the new things he is learning from Selen. She is kind, patient and so lovely with the children. Her house is immaculate and the toys room is amazing. She is the most trustworthy person to look after my son and I will always recommend her to anyone.

Selen has babysat for me throughout the past year a number of time and has been absolutely incredible with looking after my little boy.
My son absolutely loves being with Selen and never wants to leave. Her toy room is so incredible for the children and it’s not solely based on play, but also learning in play.
We are so grateful for having Selen look after our little one, she’s extremely caring and her family are also extremely caring and kind too.

Selen K is a very good childminder, she is kind, caring, organised, providing daily outings and activities and is also flexible on arrangements that suit parents. My child settled in straight away with and is very happy being minded by Selen.
Selen loves her profession and this shows in the level of care and attention to detail she provides and especially in her holistic approach to childcare; being attentive to physical, personal, emotional and cognitive aspects of learning of my child.
I highly recommend Selen K.
