Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! I hope I can fulfil all your childcare needs.
I am a dedicated and passionate childminder, registered with Ofsted since 2006. I have extensive experience caring for children aged 3 months and older and I take great joy in fostering their growth and development.
I believe children thrive in a nurturing, safe and secure environment. My approach emphasises teaching good manners and positive behaviour while encouraging children to share, care for one another and develop a sense of community.
Working closely with parents is a key aspect of my practice. I actively involve parents in their child's learning and development, recognising the importance of a strong partnership. I understand how challenging it can be for parents to leave their children while they work, so I ensure every child feels welcomed, cared for and supported, minimising any anxiety they may feel in their parents' absence.
My commitment to these principles has resulted in a solid track record of satisfaction among the families I have worked with. Many past clients have expressed their appreciation for the loving and attentive care their children received while under my supervision.

My Experience
My extensive personal experience and proven track record in providing childcare for over 20 children since 2006 as well as raising my own four children, who are now successful adults in thriving careers enabled me to be a dedicated childcare provider.
My long-standing registration with Ofsted since 2006 highlights my commitment to child development and my passion for nurturing young minds. I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where children can thrive, and I emphasise positive values like good manners, sharing, and caring for others.
My empathetic approach, grounded in my own parenting experience, allows me to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reassures both children and parents, making the transition to childcare easier.
I am a big believer in learning through play and I also believe taking children to the local library, soft play areas and parks for cultural enrichment is needed to support the child’s social and physical development.
Additionally, my strong communication skills and willingness to work closely with parents ensure that children's individual needs are met and that their growth and development are supported. Furthermore, my children, my husband and myself all have DBS certificates which can be shown if requested.

My Qualifications
As a childminder I have been attending many CPD session in order to stay up to date and to continue my personal development as this is beneficial for myself and the children I look after.
I have achieved a full qualification in CACHE Level 3 Childminding Practice.
I have also achieved a certificate in Child Protection this shows I can do the following: Child protection procedure and processes, recognition and response to a child in need. Logging and reporting of concerns and promoting safe work within a protective ethos.
I am first aid trained having completed a paediatric first aid course in July 2022 this is valid for 3 years.
I also achieved a certificate in Framework for the early years of foundation stage.
I have achieved certificate for two year old progress summary. This shows I have learnt how to work and look after children from the age of 2 years.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
Fees can be discussed.
All drinks and snacks are provided free of charge.
Formula milk for babies must be provided.
If you would rather provide your child with a packed lunch then please feel free. I will always respect your wishes.
