About Me
My name is Kevin and I have been a registered Childminder since November 2009
My career was all about people and business development. For 15 years I covered Britains roads and visited many countries to support individuals in performing to their best. It was a great job but one that would see me leave home before the sun rose and return once it had set. I simply wasn't seeing enough of my family and made the decision to jack it all in and focus my people development skills onto the smaller people of the World! I gave up Board Rooms for Board Games!!
And that is how Kevz Kidz was born. I am Ofsted registered and here to help your child grow and develop.
I now work with my partner, Aimee Carlier, from our home. She has been a qualified childminder since 2007 and although she has her own mindees we technically act as each others assistants.
We pride ourselves on our welcoming and relaxing setting where the children are comfortable and thrive.
We have strong relationships with our parents and work together to ensure the development of each child. We have social functions twice a year (BBQ, weather permitting) where all parents and mindees are welcomed for an afternoon of fun and informal chat.
My Experience
As well as being a hands on father of 2, and step father to a further 6, Grandad to 10, I am fully trained in all the latest Early Years initiatives I am totally focused in providing an environment that is safe and will encourage your childs development. Every day will be filled with physical activity, structured exercises to enhance learning and all through the medium of play.
Parents of the children in my care will be given access to a personalised development diary that shows how each child is growing from strength to strength through guidelines set out by the Early Years Foundation Stages
I have been the Vice Chair and PR Officer for the Andover Childminders Association (ACMA) and heavily involved in a lot of activities that take place in the area for the children.
I have received several Ofsted ratings of GOOD since my registration.
My Qualifications
Diploma in Homebased Childcare: FINAL GRADE: A
Unit 1 - Introduction to childcare practice (homebased) - Pass
Unit 2 - Childcare and child development in the homebased setting - Grade A
Unit 3 - The childcare practitioner in the homebased setting - Grade A
Unit 4 - working in partnership with parents in the homebased setting - Grade A
Unit 5 - Planning to meet the children's individual needs in the homebased setting - B

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£5.00 an hour which includes all trips to ball parks and farm etc and all snacks, there are NO hidden costs.
Lunch if required is £1 per day

Both Kevin & Aimee are such warm people. You get an instance paternal & maternal vibe from them so no wonder my son was always going in for cuddles!!! Large home with lots of toys. They did lots of crafting too. Already booked back in for when I next work in the area. Highly recommend!!
