About Me
I live in the village of Barwell, with my husband and 3 children. My children are aged 11 years and 19 years and 23 years.
My Experience
I have over 25 years experience in childcare, varying from nursery nurse, nursery manager to a childminder. I have numerous training certificates and I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and first aider. I continously update my knowledge and practice with ongoing training courses and conferences. After completing my NNEB, I progressed from a nursery nurse to a nursery manager, and after having my second child I became a childminder. I am registered with Ofsted, my last inspection had a 'good' rating.
I am a validated childminder to offer the Nursery Education Funding (NEF), therefore I am able to offer the 15/30 hours free childcare entitlement from the government.
I have completed a foundation degree in children's and young people's services (level 5)
I am an accrecited Communication Friendly Home Based Setting
