About Me
No longer childminding I’m afraid. I am now working in a nursery. Several people working from home and not enough demand I think. I will deactivate my profile on here as soon as I can
My Experience
At 16 I worked in a infant school for my work experience - I even returned once the work experience was completed on my days off school . I then went onto have five children of my own a few years apart. 4 of who are now at high school/ college.
I worked at a school over lunchtime period catering for children with allergies vegetarian and halal diets.
I have completed a level 3 diploma in childcare
I have been an Ofsted registered Childminder since Nov 2012.
I am currently at Leeds university part time one afternoon a week, studying- learning and teaching, SEN.
My Qualifications
I have several gcses all a-c grades including maths, science,English , French, re, design and technology , and an intermediate GNVQ in health and social care. I achieved a pass on the home based child care course which carries 4 credits at level 3. I have reveived a pass for my level 3 diploma in childcare I have completed a paediatric first aid course and a speakeasy course.
I also have a certificate in level 2 food hygiene.
I have recently competed an understanding autism course and understanding children and young peoples mental health.
I regularly attend training courses to continually learn new ideas.
I have a full uk driving licence and a fully insured car with several car seats to use daily.
My Availability
I have a space 3/4 full days a week for a child under 5.
I have space for before and after school care and school holiday care places in my setting.
Emergency / ad hoc / short term care can also be accommodated.
I currently offer free childcare for 15 hours a week ( term time ) to 2 year olds ( who meet criteria ) and 15/30 hours per week ( term time ) for all 3 and 4 year olds please contact me for further information . I can have the child all year round but the funding is term time only

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
My hourly Rate is £4 per hour with antisocial hours charging extra
I accommodate term time only contracts
