Outstanding care and setting
We are moving from London and as a result a space has become available at our amazing childminder. Our daughter Georgie has been with Dorota (Dot) since she was 6.5 months old (she is now 2 years 2 months) and she has become a confident little lady who is constantly enquiring about the world around her and likes to try things herself. I remember how hard it was to find someone we felt we could trust, who would nurture our child and help them develop. I can say without a shadow of a doubt we made a brilliant decision by working with Dot, amazing does not really cover it. The space that the children have to play in is outstanding, clean yet inviting and designed to encourage creative play which Dot supports with a beautiful array of wooden toys, her garden is carefully designed to allow outside play all year round and the children have access to a mud kitchen amongst other things. Her location is also fantastic and means the children benefit from access to the beautiful Morden Hall Park and (when open) Deer Farm and national trust nature trails. Themed weeks (such as animals, birds, weather etc) mean the children learn when playing and we get a constant flow of lovely art work to adorn the fridge. Dot walks that careful balance of being brilliant with children (my daughter loves her dearly) without being a parent replacement - something I think is incredibly hard to do. I really cannot speak highly enough of Dot, Georgie has thrived in her care and Dot has been instrumental in Georgie becoming the confident, friendly, chatty, sparky child she is today.
Georgie is going to miss Dot, as will we!
