About Us
Hi, my name is Helen and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I received the grading of Good (with Outstanding features) in my last Ofsted Inspection. I live in Skellingthorpe and my children attend The Holt Primary School and The Priory, City of Lincoln Academy.
I work with my Husband Colin and also Alice who is our Apprentices working towards her Level 2 in Childcare which is due to end In January 2018 and then Alice will be working towards her Early Years Educator Level 3. Working with Colin and Alice enables us to be more flexible with our routines and activities and am able to offer a homely environment for children to settle, learn and play.
Indoor activities include lots of messy play, cooking, arts and crafts, lots of fun toys and educational toys. We also enjoy indoor imaginative play and creativity.
We aim to provide an excellent service that meets parents needs whilst ensuring a safe, caring, loving and enjoyable learning environment for the children. I have a large home with a spacious garden and plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. I regularly visit local parks and toddler groups with the children.
We love to share your child’s day and learning with you through a daily diary and also discussion at the end of the day.

Our Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
Prices on Application
Healthy Snacks and drinks are provided in the morning and afternoon and I can provide Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at an additional cost and have a sample menu/price list if you are interested or alternatively please feel free to provide your own childs lunch or dinner.
I am registered to provide Overnight Care
Bank Holidays are worked but at an additional charge.

Helen and Stephanie are very caring and provide a stimulating, safe and fun environment for my two Young children. All of the staff at Sunflowers are very friendly and approachable, nothing is too much trouble. Helen and Stephanie work hard to introduce fun activities for the children, including taking them to the park and to a local toddler group at no extra cost. When it was my daughter's birthday recently they arranged a special Frozen party for the children. My daughter was thrilled. She also loves the weekly children's yoga that Helen and Stephanie arranged, again at no extra cost. Parents are kept informed of their child's progress using a on-line system which is very easy and user friendly. Photos are posted and it's lovely to see the children enjoying themselves. I highly recommend Sunflowers Childminding.

Started working at the sunflowers last year providing yoga play and relaxation sessions for the children of sunflowers. Stephanie and Helen are both very friendly, fun, passionate and outgoing childminders, who work hard to provide a wonderful, stimulating, fun and creative environment where the children can explore, create, dance, play,interact and learn.
All the children get on and enjoy regular activities provided by people like myself enhancing their development and setting them off to the right start in life.
If you are looking for somewhere that helps your little one eat well, feel good, have fun, get some good exercise, relax and enjoy special classes and much more this is the place for you!
I am very proud to provide my sessions at sunflowers and in the future when I have children I know where to send them, hope the fun never ends! thankyou :) Amy-Louise

Helen & Stephanie are excellent childminders. They are friendly and easy to talk to. I have no worries when my daughter is in their care. I couldn't recommend then enough!

Helen and Stephanie look after my 2 year old daughter. I could not be happier with the care they have provided. Aimee has come along in her development so much since joining them and can not recommend them high enough to anybody.
They have always been welcoming and always give you the time you need to talk about anything. They also accomadate for my elder son during school holidays wherever possible.

Helen & Stephanie are brilliant! friendly, happy and make every effort to make sure your happy as well as your children.
My son has been there less than a month and he is so happy. His development has come on leaps and bounds as they have encouraged him to feed himself. He can now use a spoon and has moved onto different types of finger food. I would recommend theses ladies without a second thought!
