About Me
I am a Mummy to twin boys and a Primary School Teacher. I have experience in tutoring young children and 8 years teaching experience. I have left full time work and I am looking to provide a few hours of tuition a week in the Chelmsford area.
I can also provide Evening babysitting in the Chelmsford area.
My Experience
I have worked in an Infant School for 8 years teaching a variety of children with varied needs including Autism, global delay and a child who was deaf. This included 2 years as the Nursery teacher of children between 3-4 years. I have also now worked for 5 years as a supply teacher working in varies schools in the Essex area teaching children from Nursery to Year 6.
I provided private tuition for a number of children over the period of 2 years, going to their house for an hour on a weekly basis and providing support with areas of need, homework or areas they had found difficult at school that week.
I have worked on Summer playschemes including those for children with additional needs and disabilities.
I have 6 year old twin boys and am very happy and confident looking after very young children.
My Qualifications
BA Primary Eduacation (Hons) from Roehampton University
Post Grad Diploma in Eduactional Research from Cambridge University
DBS cleared (carried out Dec 2015)
Safeguarding/Child protection training
Epi Pen and Diabetes/insulin training
Mummy to Twin boys so experience with Newborns and very young children
My Availability
Private tuition - Saturday/Sunday mornings are best at the moment. From September 2018 I will be able to provide tuition in school hours if required.
Evening Babysitting - Available from 6.30pm weekdays and 5pm Weekends but would need at least 48 hours notice.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
Private Tuition - £20 an hour or £30 an hour for 2 children of similar age/ability
Baby Sitting - £6.50 per hour, £7 per hour for 2+ siblings
