Wonderful Wishcroft

Our daughter spent three months at Sallyann's when she was 9-12 months. Our experience at Wishcroft was outstanding from start to finish and we couldn't have asked for a better start to childcare for her.

Sallyann and her staff are incredibly caring - our daughter was always excited when she saw them in the morning. We always felt extremely comfortable leaving her at Wishcroft and she was very happy during her time there.

The main reason that we chose Wishcroft for our daughter was their approach to outings and outdoor time with the kids. Our daughter was always out and about, getting covered in mud, splashing in their paddling pool or on trips to the park or to London. It gave us a lot of comfort to know she was enjoying lots of outdoor time and other new experiences.

She developed a lot during her time at Wishcroft, learning to crawl and say her first words during that time. This is no doubt credit to Sallyann and her team.

It was with a heavy heart that we left Sallyann's, but we've moved our daughter to childcare that is much closer to home. We 100% recommend prospective parents to join the Wishcroft family - you won't regret your decision!

A wonderful setting

Our son has recently left Wishcroft after 3 wonderful years and didn't want to leave! It really is a very special setting where we had full trust in Sallyann and her team that he was being cared for, loved and supported in all his development milestones.

Sallyann provides a clean, safe home from home environment for the children to play and grow in but above all it's a really fun place. From themed activity and craft days to day trips out (park, library, playgroups, her allotment, forest school) there is so much to keep the children engaged and so many opportunities for them to learn.

Wishcroft provides a truly nurturing environment which supports the children in developing their manners, kindness and friendships. We would highly recommend Sallyann to all parents.

Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Sallyann and Wishcroft who looked after our son for 3 years. Leaving him in the care of someone when I returned to work was so daunting but I really needn’t have worried. From the moment we first met Sallyann we knew he would be in fantastic hands. Sallyann and her team were not only fun and caring but also played a crucial role in teaching him valuable life skills.

Throughout the years, Sallyann and her team created a nurturing and engaging environment for our son. They always made sure he felt safe and comfortable, allowing him to thrive and grow. Their fun and playful nature made every day enjoyable, and he always looked forward to spending time with them especially enjoyed their many days out.

But what truly sets Sallyann apart is her dedication to teaching valuable life skills. She understood the importance of preparing him for the future and took the time to impart knowledge and wisdom. From basic manners and social skills to problem-solving and independence, he learned so much under her guidance and that has definitely helped shape him into the little boy he is today.

Sallyann encouraged our son to explore his interests and develop his creativity. She provided opportunities for him to engage in various activities, fostering his curiosity and passion for learning.

Overall, I cannot speak highly enough Sallyann and have recommended her to many friends. I am grateful for her dedication and would highly recommend Wishcroft to any parent looking for a reliable and exceptional childminder.

A true angel for our children xx

What a fantastic setting this is! We have two children who both attended wishcroft and plan to send our third there too, the nurturing and care from the age of a baby with attention to all their needs was exactly what we were hoping for. The guidance and relationships built to transition into toddler and subsequently school were so smooth and well supported by all the staff. We would like to thank all the staff who have looked after our children daily for a number of years. Would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a supportive, reliable and caring environment for their children. Thank you and there genuinely is nobody better in our area xx

A second Mummy for your little one!

There aren't enough stars for me to be able to rate this childminder sufficiently - 5 stars do not go high enough!

Sallyann and her wonderful assistants provide everything you would want to be providing for you child if you didn't have to work (and more!) - a comfortable home from home setting, a lovely big garden to play in, an allotment to dig and learn from, trips out to nearby playgroups, libraries and play cafes, regular trips on the train into and around London, trips on the bus to the airport....I could go on. Wishcroft is truly a learning experience like no other that you will find for your baby/toddler.

My boys left Wishcroft, after 4 happy years, with friends that they still talk about today, with impeccable manners, with a varied love of healthy food and a passion for learning.

I couldn't have asked for them to be loved any more than they were at Wishcroft - Sallyann is, and will always be, their second Mummy. She will remain a part of our family for ever.
