Absolutely amazing- cannot recommend enough!

Carolyn has had my little one since she was 10 months old. As a new mum I was absolutely terrified to go back to work and for my little girl to be without me. However, Carolyn made me feel so at ease that over time and excellent communication I’ve not had any worries and I go to work with the knowledge she is safe, stimulated and well looked after. Rosie absolutely adores Carolyn, she strolls on in, in the mornings with a smile on her face and gives her a big hug. She has made Rosie feel loved and right at home. I know when another baby arrives Carolyn will be number 1 on my list. Her caring nature has really made going to work so much easier. I cannot recommend her enough!

Outstanding childminder - highly recommended

Carolyn was the first childminder I met after searching for some help as I transitioned back to work. I had two under two that I was looking for places for (so my criteria was high - especially as it was my first time using a childminder). I was a worried mum about parting with my children, and nervous I wouldn’t ask the right questions. Well, I needn’t have worried. The minute we went to her home I could see how happy my babies were, and they loved the spaces she has for the children. I knew straightaway there was no point visiting others as I had struck gold. Carolyn took the time to answer my (numerous) questions and has done so ever since.

I’ve used Carolyn for quite some time now, and I have to say, she’s become like my wingwoman. My children are happy and well cared for, and she is SO lovely and caring - I wish I could articulate how incredible she is but words don’t quite cut it. She has helped me out and made such a positive impact on my life and working I’ll forever be grateful.

My children are taken out to places to have fun, I feel mum guilt for not being able to do, and I love hearing their stories when they come home. They speak to Carolyn so warmly, and always make me smile when they show me what they have learnt or give me cards they have made. My daughter isn’t particularly affectionate, and can be standoffish with people, but the bond she has with Carolyn is unique - cuddles, laughs, and being mischievous (in the best sense). Both children have developed so much under her care, I am so proud!

If you have read until now, good work! I honestly could go on all day praising Carolyn. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a professional to look after their little ones. As you can tell I am truly going to miss her, as will the children.

OUTSTANDING CHILDMINDER

My little girl has just left the care of Carolyn (to start primary school) where she has been since she was 6 months old. After visiting Carolyn and her home for the first time, I was convinced that my daughter would be well-cared for, nurtured and most importantly safe. I did not even visit any other providers. Carolyn's safe guarding measures alone made me feel very assured. Her home very quickly became my daughter's 2nd home and her favourite days were 'Carolyn days'. Carolyn's home is immaculately clean and the playroom well resourced to aid a child's development. Everyday Carolyn took my daughter out on a visit, whether that was to the park, nature trail, library, rhyme time and many more places. She encourages the children she cares for to form friendships and they enjoy each others company, as well as learning new skills from Carolyn such as sharing and turn taking. She has clear boundaries with all children in her care and she encourages manners and positive behaviour.

During the last 4 years, the care Carolyn has given to my daughter but also support to me as a mum has been outstanding. Carolyn nurtures children and provides exceptional pastoral care as well as focusing on the areas of learning required. Reports were written on my daughters development at the relevant times. Carolyn is flexible and in regular communication, sending daily pictures of my daughter's day. She is supportive and helpful, always having the child's best interests at heart and often offers her advice (e.g. on toilet training, weening,) which is invaluable due to her experience of working with children. She gets to know each child extremely well.

My daughter has left Carolyn now to start school this September but I will definitely continue to use her services in the holidays if needed. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Loving excellent childcare

My son have been with Carolyn since he was 1 and absolutely loves it. It is truly his home away from home. Carolyn is very reliable and truly cares for the kids in her care and I cannot recommend her enough as my son did not settle anywhere as well as he did with her. The setting is always well kept and Carolyn keeps me updated with my son and his day x

Brilliant

My son was looked after by Carolyn for almost two years I couldn’t have wished for a better lady to leave him with, she is very friendly and so good with the children. He loved going there, she would regularly take him out to soft play and the park and would send me photos all the time of him so I knew what he was doing and he was ok, she tried her best to be accommodating as I work on a flexible rota, I honestly don’t feel I could have found anyone better to look after my son. I felt very comfortable leaving him there.

Excellent childminder - highly recommend.

Carolyn was a fantastic childminder for my son for just over 2 years. He started with her when he was 11 months old. He loved going to her and the friends that he made there. Carolyn’s home is warm and welcoming and she offers a wide range of activities and experiences for the children. He particularly enjoyed going out to the park and library and meeting with the childminding group.
Carolyn is very friendly and great with the kids. She was flexible when our needs changed also. We are looking to send our second child along next!

Fantastic!

Carolyn cared for my daughter and son before and after school / pre school for 2 days a week and cannot praise her enough!

My children loved going to Carolyn's and I always felt they were loved and safe when I had to leave. She was really flexible with my hours I had to work and always let me know how they were getting on and what they were up to which was lovely to know.

We really miss Carolyn and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a child minder with such great experience and caring nature.

Highly recommended!

Carolyn looks after bothmy 2 and 4 year old boys. They both love going to her house, which tells you everything you need to know!
She is very caring and from the first moment I met her I felt completely at ease. She always plans fun activities for my boys. She is also very flexible which helps with my current situation.

Lovely Lady, perfect childcare provider.

Couldn't recommend this lady highly enough. Warm, patient, caring. It was evident when we picked our little girl up that she was a very happy little girl, so much so, she didn't want to come home. Carolyn even let her borrow a pizza and corn on the cob to avoid tears! :)

Loving, caring and reliable.

Carolyn has looked after my little girl since she was 11 months old, and is continuing to care for her before and after school when she starts in September.

Carolyn provides a home from home environment for her children, in which my daughter has thrived. I give credit to Carolyn for helping my daughter develop all her early years skills, particular her social development. Carolyn carefully plans the activities for the children's days, and they always come home home talking about their day, often with things they have created.

I have never had any doubt about my daughters safety or happiness when she is with Carolyn, particularly not when she still asks to go on a Saturday!!

It's difficult being a working mum and having to balance responsibilities. Carolyn has made the whole experience easier for me, never letting me down, and making me feel comfortable leaving my daughter with her.
