About Me
My name is Gail and I am an Ofsted registered childminder, I work with My mum who is my assistant. I received a good grade on my recent Ofsted inspection. I am based in the Abington Vale area of Northampton. I am married with two boys aged 8 and 7 and a dog called Mabel who is very friendly.
I have a dedicated playroom and a large secure garden and I am within walking distance of Abington park.
I make use of the parks and country parks giving the children the opportunity to be outdoors & explore nature, we also also visit the local library and make use of the groups they offer.
My setting offers a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children to thrive in and I ensure all areas of the Early Years Foundation stage are covered
My Experience
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse with over 10 years experience in child care and have also been a nanny.
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing and I have completed an introduction to Early Years practice.
I hold a current Paediatric first aid certificate.
I have also completed a safeguarding children course.
My Availability
I currently have full and part-time spaces available from Mon-Fri for September 2019.
I am flexible in the hours I work and can cater for parents working shifts.
I can drop off and collect from Bridgewater and Abington Vale Primary schools and also from the local pre-schools.

Safe and enjoyable care, but above all full of love and totally dedicated to the children. Gail is trustful, flexible and open to the personal needs of the children and their families. My daughter has been with her since we first came in the UK. Without knowing any English she found in Gail's house a place full of friends and fun. I would like to recommend Gail especially to parents who working on shifts or flexible working time. We are so lucky to have you Gail. Thank you.
Overall
My son has been with this childminder for 18 months and loves it so much he doesn't want to corm home when I go to collect him. Gail is a trustworthy, flexible and makes leaving my son with her very easy when I know he's happy. He is constantly stimulated in different ways and has lots of fun. I would recommend to anyone needing a childminder.
