About Me
I have been OFSTED Registered since May 2001 and I live in Low Fell with my husband & son.
My last OFSTED inspection was in August 2022 where I received an overall ‘Good’ standard.
I have a designated room for childminding, along with the bathroom on the first floor and occasionally use the kitchen to bake with the children. I have a garden with fencing all round to allow children to have a secure outdoor play area. All toys, activities and equipment are kept downstairs and are easily accessible to all children.
There is no smoking in our home & I am fully insured by Morton and Michel.
My Experience
I currently attend 4 different toddler groups in Low fell each week where we mix other children of similar ages. We also enjoy days out at Giants Den, libraries, art galleries and several parks.
In the summer months we spend a lot of our time outdoors, attending group days out, swimming, beach, garden activities and picnic's in the parks.
I own a car and am fully insured to drive with the children and this provides a great advantage to take the children to a variety of different activities around the community.
Since I started childminding, I have cared for several children, ranging from 6 weeks old months to 12 years old and have enjoyed (nearly) every minute.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My fees are flexible depending upon your exact requirements, however I am happy to discuss the details further when required.

I am registered to accept most childcare vouchers and being OFSTED registered can assist in the acceptance of Family Tax Crdit.

We used Stephanie for after school childcare for our children. She was like an Auntie to them. Gave them a lovely safe and fun environment to play until we picked them up after work.
Her facilities are excellent, with a designated playroom, including educational toys and lots of crafts - which my children loved! She makes a special effort with themed crafts during the year.
We loved the fact she looks after children of all ages, which is great for social skills and also helping their confidence.
Stephanie is very reliable and flexible. We would definitely recommend her. We couldn’t have both worked without all her help in looking after our children.

Stephanie was exactly what we were looking for. She is extremely flexible in what time we can pick up and drop off our daughter. She always lets us know what she's had to eat and if and when she's had a nap. The other children she looks after are lovely and well behaved, setting a great example to our little one. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to anyone looking for a childminder. Our daughter settled really well with Stephanie and regularly doesn't want to come home!!!!!!!!

Stephanie has looked after both my daughters for a year now. 21 month old and 5 years old. I have so much confidence that they are well looked after. My older daughter tells me everything, and there is never a bad word. Stephanie is straight talking and will always say if there is a problem, disciplined yet very caring.

My children (aged 5 & 4) have been with Stephanie since August 2012. Both girls are very happy with her and I am delighted with the knowledge that they are safe, secure and well cared for in a caring family environment.
They enjoy lots of activities, including arts and crafts, storytime and going for walks. Melanie had lunch 3 days a week and has sensible food and snacks. They have made excellent relationships with the other children that Stephanie looks after which I feel is very important in their wider development,
Both of my girls were adopted 3 years ago , aged 1 and 2, and have had many traumatic changes in their short lives - I feel that Stephanie has given them security and care at a difficult time in their lives.
I would be happy to discuss this further if required.

I have been using Stephanie since around 2009, in which time myself and my daughter have found her to be very professional.
My daughter thoroughly enjoys her time at Stephanie’s and there are always a wide range of crafts and activities for the children to participate in, all of these are provided by Stephanie.
I have found her to be very reliable and she will always endeavour to go over and beyond her duties.
I have been happy and would not hesitate in recommending Stephanie to family and friends.
