About Me

My name is Lisa Anderson, I am a registered childminder in Longbenton. I was graded good by Ofsted in my first inspection dated 2018. My next inspection is expected any time now.

I live with my partner John and our 2 children aged 17 and 12. I enjoy going to the cinema, reading and running in my spare time.

I live in a spacious 4 bedroom house and the children have full access to all downstairs including bathroom, living room, quiet room, kitchen/dining room and enclosed back garden, also upstairs bathroom and 3 of the 4 bedrooms.

I previously worked in an office for 10 years before leaving to become a childminder in 2009. It works very well with my family and my children enjoy having the company of other children.

I live very close to BT Call Centre, Balliol Business Park and Quorum Business Park and within walking distance of both Four Lane Ends and Longbenton Metro Stations.

I offer a warm and friendly environment for children to play and learn .I provide a varied range of activities for the children in my care which includes messy play, arts and crafts, music and dance, baking, gardening, local play groups and outings to local parks and softplays with trips further afield during the holidays.

I have a full clean driving licence which allows me to take the children to a wider range of places depending on the weather, including fruit picking, farm visits, parks further afield, etc.

We have our own private allotment plot and the children are loving learning to grown our own vegetables which includes onions, radish, lettuce, sprouts, carrots, potatoes and cauliflower as well of many fruit bushes which we use to make our own jam with.
