Hello,
My name is Paulina and I'm a mother of two daughters Bianka is 16 years old and Naomi is 12 years old.
I'm fully qualified in childcare and trained in paediatric first aid.
I ensure that any children in my care get daily outings from baby to toddler including playgroups, as well as library trips, and outings to farms, etc.
I am a member of FOREST CHILDCARE ASSOCIATION and as a provider, I am willing to take children to the outdoor environment once a week whatever the weather. Forset childcare can teach children to appreciate nature, trees, ponds, animals, fields by spending time in the natural environment. It can improve physical development by the opportunity to run and balance and develop relationships with others through negotiations, taking turns, and cooperation.
Forest childcare improves children's concentration, perseverance, motivation skills. Help children to stay fit and counter obesity. Trips to the woods build knowledge and understanding of the world. Provide rich opportunities for imagination, inventiveness, and resourcefulness.
Children have a small garden to use but I also organize trips to the parks, playgrounds, play beach, riverside on a daily basis all year round.
I provide a high-quality environment for children which is welcoming, safe, and stimulating and where children are able to enjoy learning and grow in confidence.
This enables them to develop their social skills whilst working towards the early year's foundation stage (EYFS).
I'm registered to look after children from newborn to 8 years.
I have a warm, welcoming flat with one dedicated sleep room as well as a large playroom with a large variety of educational toys, books, puzzles, etc., to stimulate all age groups.
There is also a computer for sole use for children to do homework, research, and play educational games to develop technology skills.
I really like art and craft so in my setting, we are doing messy and creative stuff every week.
My aim is to create a happy, welcome home for children to feel safe and happy. I believe that when children are happy they are willing and able to learn.
I offer pick-ups and drop-offs from St Richard Reynolds Catholic college only in Twickenham. Home-cooked food, snacks, fresh fruit, and drinks are included in the price and playgroup for toddlers.
I currently look after children aged 2,5 - 9.

My Experience
I have ten years of experience in childcare since I started my new career. During these years I was taking care of children from 9 months old up to 10 years old. Few families I worked with were sending their children to my setting since Reception class up to Year 5/6. We developed a lovely friendship and these children still like to come over from time to time. I am working in my daughter's school as a lunchtime supervisor. I'm ambitious, patient, cheerful, professional at work. I am also reliable and will always try to accommodate parents' needs around my work.
Recently I had Ofsted inspection and my setting was graded as "good" and I'm very pleased with it.

My Fees
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
Taking into account my qualifications and responsibilies for your child my fee is 10 pounds per hour. I also accept childcare vouchers!!!

Paulina started looking after our 2 girls 8 years ago and I am so glad we choose her as she has been wonderful for the girls and for us as working parents! She was always been super accommodating if we were running late for collection or if the school had trip that was arriving back after the scheduled time; she was also able to collect from after some school clubs which I really appreciated as it made being a working parent possible!
The girls were always engaged when with Pauline through arts and crafts, trip to the library, and picnics in the park. When collecting them in the evenings there always seemed to be some story or a piece of art to share. The girls got a family cooked meal every night (sometime I would turn up early to see if there was an 'spare' as they smelled amazing!).
It is a shame that the girls are too old now but we still see Paulina regularly as she has become a family friend after inviting our girls to be part of her family for so many years!
An amazing childminder and a friend who had a big part in my the upbringing of my family - thank you!

Our girls 2.5 and 7 have been with Paulina for just under two years now. They have always been very happy and settled in so well from the beginning making my return to work an easy process.
Our youngest was not yet one when they started and I was very nervous about it but Paulina took them in and has treated them with the same love and respect as she does her own two girls. They love going to Paulina every week and see it as their home away from home.
Our youngest has learnt so much and progressed so well under Paulina's care/teaching that I feel she is very advanced for her age.
My eldest was with Paulina for after school care and she has always been supported with her learning through library trips and extra curricular attivities, especially during the long summer holidays.
She has always gone above and beyond to help and support me and our family when needed (behavioural issues/family illnesses) and I know I can always count on her.
It is with very heavy hearts that we have to say our farewells to not only our dear childminder but her lovely family too. We are moving away from London and so have no choice but say our goodbyes to Paulina. We could not have been any luckier to have found Paulina and we will truly miss her. I just hope we can find someone as good in the future when the time comes.
