About Me
Hi, I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over sixteen years. I offer a warm and caring environment in my loving family home. I have lots of toys and activities to suit all ages and my garden has plenty of outdoor equipment. As well as childminding babies and pre-schoolers, I do pick-ups and drop-offs to Pickhurst Infants school, which is just a short five-minute walk. I can also do collection from Busy Bees pre-school. I am close to both West Wickham and Hayes stations and just a short bus ride from Bromley South. I do not smoke.
My Experience
I've been Ofsted-registered since November 2008 and I have two children of my own to add to my childcare experience. I care for children aged from three months old.

My daughter (nearly 3) has been with Michelle for 2 years now and I wouldn't change a thing. Michelle is so caring and attentive to Aria, always doing stuff with her, trying her on new foods (Aria is FUSSY). Since being with Michelle she has come on leaps and bounds, she is now a confident little girl who loves spending time with other kids. Michelle is really friendly, welcoming and calming, any worries she always helps, and answers any question you have. Aria actually asks to see Michelle, even on days she isn't going there! Michelle genuinely cares about the children she looks after.
When I worried last year that Aria was behind in her development, Michelle calmed me down and helped me work on this, and now she is doing amazing and is right on track. I honestly cannot thank Michelle enough. She has taught Aria so many things but my favourite one is her manners, it's not just a 'thank you', Aria goes 'Thank you very much', or if you say thank you to Aria she replies 'you are welcome'.
If you need a childminder, honestly look no further, Michelle ticks all the boxes.

I have just started my little bestie with Michelle and it has been the easiest process. She is lovely and has such a calming nature, she made me feel comfortable and settled my nerves! I was an absolute wreck the first day and she kept me informed all day on how Aria was. Not only am I happy but my baby has really got on with Michelle (something difficult for Aria). Hand on heart would recommend Michelle to anyone.

My daughter was looked after by Michelle mornings and after school, I knew she was safe and well- looked after. They did a variety of activities after school.
The hours she provided worked well with my teaching hours and most importantly my daughter was happy there.

Michelle has been caring for my 2 year old son for nearly a year now and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the care she provides! My son is happy to go to Michelle's and talks about her on the days he's not there. The feedback Michelle gives us and the observations written in his learning journal really reflect the behavior and personality my son shows at home which is great to know as he can be quite shy and quite around people other than family. Michelle has a lovely home perfectly set up for childminding with lots of stimulating toys and activities for learning (I have picked up lots of tips for encouraging my son's developing at home from what I hear and see him doing at Michelle's!). I would have no hesitation in recommending Michelle as a fantastic childminder with a real interest and understanding of young children- she continues to have a positive influence on my son's development and us as parents.... and she only looks after him 2 days a week!

Michelle has been looking after our son for the last year having moved into the area. Michelle has helped him settle in well assessing his needs and has encouraged him to develop. Michelle’s home has a great selection of toys and activities and gives lots of cuddles and support when needed.

I was very happy to find Michelle through this website as my son and myself had met with a couple of childminders prior but immediately my 3-year old son warmed to Michelle and was very happy staying in her home. I employed Michelle 1 day a week for a number of months this year and from 9.30/10–4/5pm. My son was always very happy when collected after having a good day in the care of Michelle. Michelle is an excellent communicator, advised me on his progress during the day through WhatsApp and we always had a catch up on his behaviour, progress and what they did during the day at pick-up.
Michelle's home is safe, clean and tidy and well-equipped with plenty of toys and stimulus to keep an active and outgoing boy like mine amused. Highly recommended.

Michelle has taken care of both my boys before and after school since they started pickhurst in reception. My eldest only left this July as he heads to secondary school and my youngest continues on at Michelle's. I would have no hesitation in recommending her. My kids think she is great. She comforts them if they fall over and reigns them in if they get too boisterous. There is lots for them to do at her house and they are happy when I collect them. When the weather is fine, they go to the park or play out in the garden. Michelle communicates well with me about anything that happens in the day and I am confident that my children are safe, happy and well cared for with her.

Our son took a while to settle in and is a very sensitive little boy. Michelle's patients, kind nature and warm environment enabled him to settle and flourish.
Michelle's home is really a home from home and she treats little ones as if they are her own.

Michelle has been child minding my daughter since she started at school in Reception (now in the Juniors), doing morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups from school. Michelle has been great, providing a safe and caring environment and finding activities and crafts that my daughter loves doing. My daughter found settling into a new school and routine quite difficult but Michelle's caring support helped her to get through this and she was soon happily settled and enjoying playing with the other children in Michelle's care. Michelle has good communication with her parents, is flexible when required and I would definitely recommend her to other parents.

Michelle has looked after my son for the past two years since he was just 7 months old and I couldn't be happier with her! My son comes home happy and chirpy full of stories about his day. Michelle is flexible, she drops my son home, she is approachable and kind and enthusiastic about my son's development. Michelle's home is clean and bright with a variety of toys and arts and crafts, my son has come home with cards for every occasion that he had made for me at michelle's! She takes him to the park, woodland walks, soft play, child minder groups etc and m'y son is developing so well because of this. I would strongly recommend Michelle to anyone who has a toddler and needs a warm family environment that also brings a variety of activities.
