About Me
I have 27 years experience as a Registered Childminder, I'm a Mother of 2 daughters & a Grandmother. I am OFSTED registered & am CRB checked & hold a paediatric first aid & safeguarding qualification. I am registered with ICO.
I thoroughly enjoy caring for children & helping parents in the development of their children to give a secure,healthy,loving & balanced start to their lives.
I live in a large 3 bedroom house with a secure 130ft garden with climbing frames,slide,trampoline,playhouses,sandpits,
water play & lots of ride on toys etc, I have a variety of toys,puzzles, arts & crafts to suit all age groups & aid learning through play.
I like to be out & about with the children & regularly attend toddler groups, soft play, & parks etc.
My Experience
I registered as a childminder in 1997 & have looked after many children from 1 month old right up to secondary school age during my 27 years as a registered childminder.
I regularly attend training courses & work to the EYFS. I offer the children a stimulating,fun & caring environment & form good relationships with parents. I update parents daily via WhatsApp.
I have always received a "Good" grade in my inspections. My most recent in October 2019 where I received an overall GOOD.
I can provide references from parents past & present.
My Qualifications
I have all the relevant qualifications ie. paediatric first aid, Birth to three, Food & Hygiene,child development, safeguarding children & many more & work to the EYFS... and am a member of PACEY. I have always received a "Good" grade in all my OFSTED inspections with the most recent being in October this year (2019)
My Availability
I currently have vacancies for full time or part time hours.
I offer all year round & term time only contracts.
My setting is open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5pm , I am flexible if times required differ from the above hours.
I offer drop off & pick up from Buckland School in Staines & Scallywags Nursery at Buckland School.

Rose & James were perfect for my little girl. Together they helped her to start speaking more in English, to eat better, nap quicker in the afternoon . It was amazing , how my little Iris developed in such a short time. Thank you so much Rose for what you did for my family when it was most needed. Highly recommended!

It was a pleasure looking after Iris as she was so happy, caring & friendly & the other children loved having her here. We miss her & hope she settled well in her new home & setting. 🤗xx
Brilliant childminder and a lovely, really warm person!
Our son loved being there, he was really happy and comfortable from the beginning, which made it very easy for
us.
Sometimes it can be very difficult when it comes to leaving your child with someone, but we didn’t have such problem! He loved it there from the very first time we came for an interview!🤗
He sure had a great time, learned a lot and was looked after very well.
Unfortunately, we have moved home so we had to place our son in a nursery closer to home, but i know for sure that my little Oliver will definitely miss his Auntie Rose and Uncle James..😊🎈

It was a pleasure looking after your Son & the other children loved having him around. Oliver is such a lovely, friendly & caring child & contributed greatly to the setting. I loved the fact he called us Auntie Rose & Uncle James & he really did become part of our family We miss him & hope he settled in to his new home & nursery 🤗xx
