Hi my name is Sarah and I live in Knaphill, Woking and am within walking distance of both the Knaphill Lower and Knaphill Junior schools, I have 2 of my own children aged 22 and 19. My home has a fully enclosed garden with a slide and various outside resources as well as many toys and resources inside. I was last inspected July 2023 with a GOOD grading and am fully registered. I have undertaken paediatric first-aid, safeguarding courses and hold an NVQ level 3 in childcare. I have also undertaken many training courses to keep me up to date. My opening hours are 7.30-5.30 Monday-Friday. I attend several childminding and toddler groups and we go on lots of fun outings and trips.
My Experience
I worked in the NHS for 15 years before i started childminding 17 years ago and I find it a rewarding and challenging career. I am involved in two childminding groups and we meet weekly, its a great atmosphere for the children to meet and play. I have planning undertaken for the year to incorporate special dates/holidays etc and encourage the children to get involved. Such as pancake day (trying different pancakes and helping with the mix) and Chinese New Year (making money wallets) and various other dates. I am happy to also incorporate any dates that are special to you.

My Availability
I work 5 days a week and am happy to look after children from 6months onwards. Monday to Friday.

Sarah quickly became a cherished part of our lives with her warm and reassuring approach, taking care of our 14-month old, where he settled in comfortably under her care. Regular communication through WhatsApp and email makes it easy to stay updated on our son’s well-being and daily activities. Sarah's dedication to providing enriching experiences, such as special events and outdoor adventures, has been evident in our son’s development and the treasured photos we receive. Impressed by her attention to detail, we appreciate the personalized care Sarah provides, leading us to opt for regular play dates with Sarah when our son started preschool to continue nurturing the bond he formed with her during fulltime care and join in the fun of reconnecting with friends wt Sarah’s setting as well as the bigger playgroup. His excitement and happiness after a day with Sarah reflect the supportive and stimulating environment she creates.
We could not have asked for a better haven for our son to be loved by and cared for other than Sarah’s.

Sarah helped care for our 2 year old son. This being his first experience away from home, we were thrilled at how quickly he was able to settle in, all thanks to Sarah. We particularly liked the patience with which she would review the day with us at the end and her accommodating things to make the little one comfortable.

Sarah looked after my son for 5 years from when he was 7 months old. She is amazing, would highly recommend her. The kids have a great time and make good friends. Sarah is so accommodating, nothing is too much trouble.

Sarah has looked after both my boys (now aged 7 and 4) as a childminder. She is patient, kind, caring and so much fun. They both loved going to Sarah's house after school. Sometimes refusing to want to come home!
Sarah we have appreciated everything you have done for our boys and family. You have been so flexible and accommodating when we needed help. Thank you!

Sarah has been a brilliant childminder to our girls (6 &9yrs) for the last 5 years. My girls enjoy it there as they can spend time with their school friends who also go there after school. Sarah is attentive to all their needs and will let us know if there are any concerns. I highly recommend Sarah!
