My Summary

My Experience

I have been childminding for 19 years after working at a pre-school as a Manager and deputy manager. I have worked as a nanny and a nursery nurse, working with children since i was 15 years old . I absolutely love working with children and families. I am qualified in early years and pre-school practice and train regularly in Special educational needs, The early years foundation stage, Learning and Development ,Safeguarding and food Hygiene. I am a qualified Early years SENCO, I am first aid trained. I am also an accredited Childminder .

I also successfully run a family support group in St Ives for families of children with special needs and work closely with professionals to meet the families needs.
Called Cambridgeshire SEND parent/carer support group.


I am also accredited and i am a network childminder and offer 15 hrs funded places 3 - 5 yrs and Funded two's if criteria is met. I also offer the 30 hours government funding as well as 9 month - 3 year government funded hours.

I am registered with OFSTED and insured by Morton Michel and I meet regularly with other Childminders.

My Availability

I am flexible and try to work around the parents . I do operate a waiting list.

Wheatfields primary school catchment area. And local pre-schools . Open from 7.00am - 5 pm but can open from 7 am on request.

Can provide term time only. and holiday cover

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

I am happy to discuss my fees with you in person
My fees include snacks and activities , trips and days out.

I provide healthy snacks such as fruit and savory snacks taking into consideration the child's dietary needs.

Water and milk available at all times

Meals - I encourage parents to provide meals although i will provide on request :) id rather spend my time with Children rather than cooking :)
