My Experience

I have looked after children of all ages and plan a wide and varied curriculum covering all seven areas of learning, specific to each child's needs and characteristics of learning.

We frequently visit local parks including Rufford, Sherwood Forest, Sherwood Pines, Vicar water and many more. We attend library sessions, stay and play sessions and toddler groups on a regular basis and also visit soft play areas.

Song and story time are included every day along with arts and crafts, construction play, musical instruments, physical play, small world play, role play, creative play, ict and signing. We also do baking, cooking and messy play on a regular basis.

I provide a wide range of toys for all ages both indoors and out. I want children to feel happy and valued in my setting and feel free to explore in a safe and caring environment.

My policies and procedures cover all aspects of childcare including 'safeguarding children' and 'health and safety'. I undertake risk assessments and explore different religions and cultures through festivals, internet, role play, books and songs.

All document can be viewed on initial visit along with my dbs certificate, Ofsted registration and report, driving licence, first aid certificate and evidence of qualifications and training.

My Qualifications

I have completed the required element of the diploma in home-based childcare and have NVQ level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. I have been a part of the buddying programme, have a paediatric first aid certificate, level two in food hygiene and have completed the following childcare courses:

My Availability

I am available 7.00 - 5.30 Monday to Friday but will consider other hours if needed. I am very flexible and will try to accommodate the needs of parents wherever possible. I have spaces available so please feel free to contact me.

I charge £5.00 per hour
