About Me
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher, with many years experience in teaching the early years curriculum,as well as an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have experience working with children of all ages ranging from birth to age 12 and have been childminding for 17 years. I have a 21yr old daughter and an 18yr old son and we also have cats.I co-mind with my husband, a retired policeman, who is also Ofsted registered and my daughter who is our registered assistant . We offer a fun,caring family environment where children can learn and play with a wide range of indoor and outdoor toys. We provide healthy snacks and meals and opportunities to attend toddler groups and explore the local community. We offer full time and term time only contracts and separate school holiday care. We accept government funded hours and accept payments through vouchers and tax free childcare accounts. Our whole family is DBS checked and we are up todate with all required training including paediatric first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene.my husband and I have both completed the Diploma in Home Based Childcare.
My Experience
I taught for 12 years in the Borough of Enfield and for one year in Redbridge and Essex in between having my two children.
I have experience teaching all age ranges from Nursery to Yr 6 including 4 years as a Reception Teacher. I have been a registered childminder since 2007 and loved every minute!
