About Me

My name is Louise and I am an accredited childminder who is Ofsted registered. I live in Pinhoe, Exeter with my husband and daughter. My husband and I have been married for several years and my daughter Annabel is at University in London training at St Georges Hospital as a paramedic.
We are able to take all types of funding for 2, 3 and 4 year old's for up to 30hrs free childcare per week. I have also taken children from 3 months until they are ready to go to school so am experienced for care in all age groups.
The setting has a Good Ofsted report and I have lots of experience working with children. As a qualified NNEB I have worked in hospitals, nurseries and as a nanny. The setting has a well equipped secure garden to the rear. I offer a homely environment where diversity is accepted and I aim to meet every child’s needs as individuals. My children's parents are happy to provide you with references and recommendations of the setting. I have a dedicated playroom and provide the children with good quality toys and equipment to help meet their developmental needs. We have a local library and I also use the toy library to provide variety for the children and constant stimulus. I offer a loving and caring environment and I hope that while your child is with me that this is their second home.
Pip ‘N’ Squeak Childminding Services is a home from home childcare service where your child is cared for in a safe environment. Food is freshly produced and special diets are available on request.
My setting has good transport links to Sowton, Exeter City Centre and the main Paddington Line. We are close to local Pinhoe schools and playgroups. We are also close to two local parks and are situated in a green belt area giving the children opportunities to explore nature.
A I have worked with children of all ages and I am registered on the Early Years Register, the Compulsory Register and the Voluntary Childcare Register. I believe in good education and promote an ethos that learning is fun. I also encourage early reading and writing skills.
I provide a vast range of activities such as baking, creative arts and crafts, music and movement, reading, maths and English early years, water play etc. I offer activities that meet EYFS standards and the national framework.
