About Me
I worked as a babysitter from the age of 15, and I trained to be a childcarer after my wonderful daughter (2007) was born caring for children ever since. I have been a CIW registered childminder and nanny and spent 8 years as an Ofsted registered childminder in Essex prior to moving to Caerphilly in March 2016. I am insured, have paediatric first aid and I am qualified to teach the childcare qualification among others to apprentices who are 16+. I am registered with the Education workforce to work within schools as a higher level teaching assistant and a SEN teaching assistant as well as a further education teacher. I have volunteered within two schools to support learning and I have worked within schools via an agency around my degree. I have also gained a 1st class honours in Health and Social Care, which includes child development, attachment and other developmental units.
I am happy to take on evening babysitting, odd days/holiday cover when I am available to do so as I understand the need for modern parents to find good quality childcare that accommodates their needs.
I am interested in adhoc babysitting. I am not interested in before and after school roles generally, however please feel free to ask as contracts can change. I will consider overnight care as well as odd weekend days as well as evenings around other commitments.
My Experience
I am a mother first and foremost and I have been registered for over 17 years. I have nursery & nannying experience and I have looked after children for my family since I was 15, so lots of hands on training prior to my professional experience. I have nannied and babysat as well as childminding, so I have experience working within parents homes as well as in my own. I also have experience of multiples if anyone has twins that require care or sleep training. I also provide advocacy in schools part time for children facing challenges

We have been fortunate enough to have come across Natalie at the end of last year. Natalie is warm, caring and an amazing childminder who goes above and beyond for our family, I couldn’t recommend her enough! My children look forward to seeing Natalie each week and there’s always lots of different activities arranged, my son has some sensory issues too and nats so good with him. She’s just phenomenal in every way
