About Me
I am an Outstanding Ofsted registered childminder in New Barn in Kent. I have three children. Mitch, Ellie and Abbie. I have the DHC1 Diploma and a Paediatric First Aid Course Certificate. We have no pets and a no smoking policy. Myself and my older children are all crb checked.
After three children in the house we have loads of toys to suit all ages in a play room, a large play house in the garden full of toys and many garden activity toys.
I love children and spend many hours playing and making crafts along with trips to parks and childminding groups. In the summer we try and go swimming and to the beach.
My Experience
I worked in a nursey school in Bexley for three years when my children were younger and have always looked after many friends children and have very good references from parents.
I have also looked after my twelve year old nephew since he was three months old.

I found Gill when we first moved to the area in 2017. I knew from our first text message exchange that she was "the one" before even having met her. Having only ever left our children with family it was essential for us that we found somebody to take care of our youngest daughter like their own. I can safely say that Gill certainly did that! Our daughter took a while to settle after I left in the mornings but Gill went above & beyond to help us with this and in the end she went running in without looking back.
Gill's home is very child friendly and she has lots of great toys for the children to enjoy both inside & out. Her family are also very welcoming and they all made our daughter feel like part of the family too.
Gill always does excellent craft activities with the children which we will treasure forever, so much more than a simple painting or drawing. She always takes them out & about to do fun activities. The daily diary provides an update of exactly what they have done/eaten/sleep etc and the regular newsletters are very useful to find out what is going on and activities planned for the coming months.
Our daughter talks very fondly of "Auntie Gill" and her time spent with her and the other children in her care.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Gill in every way, she really is a credit to her job and has now become a close family friend as well as our childminder.

As a teacher and an early years specialist I always imagined my children in a nursery. My mother in-law suggested looking at child minders when my first son turned one, and I could not be more grateful. We met many child minders, but when we came across Gill it all just felt right. My oldest has been with her for 3 years and my youngest started in January. Gill has become a part of our family, she always goes above and beyond with our boys to make every day an adventurre and they always have a million things to tell us at the end of a day, You can see how much they love her. My oldest just started school and he still asks to see Gill everyday. We have a wall of ever changing art projects, pictures and gifts. The children's diaries are detailed and treasures we will keep forever. She remembers every event in their lives and shares in it with them. Last, but not least, her communication and bonds with parents means you feel like you are there with them every day. As a working parent, I feel like Gill makes sure I don't miss a thing going on in their lives. Her devotion and care is beyond words, and she puts her everything into each child to ignite their learning and development and ensure they reach beyond the stars. Her Christmas parties are epic and include every family, she goes to unimaginable lengths to ensure the children love it. Gill is truly one in a billion x

Gill has been providing school pick-ups and after school care for my son for the past two years. The fact that he affectionately calls her "Aunty Gill" speaks volumes- she really is an extension of the family. She provides a safe, comfortable and nurturing home-from-home environment in which all the children under her care seem to flourish. She is wonderful with the children; warm, kind and generous. She organises an amazing annual Christmas party and always remembers the children's birthdays, which are special touches that are hugely appreciated. We will miss Gill very much and couldn't recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for childcare.

Gill came highly recommended to me when I was looking to return back to work after having my daughter. She was flexible and accommodating with the hours and days I needed. My daughter had several settling in sessions and has been with Gill full time since she was 7months old (she is now 15months). Gills home is friendly and welcoming and I now consider them all as friends, Gills daughters are also incredible with my daughter - allowing her to constantly pinch their food! Gill provides a safe and fun environment with lots of toys and arts and crafts - my daughter is always coming home with things shes made. Gill provides regular updates throughout the day and a daily diary so you know your child is in the best hands. They are always out if the weather is nice and go on trips to the beach in the summer. Most days I don't even get a goodbye from my daughter when I drop her off as shes so comfortable and happy to be at Gills. Cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for a local childminder.

My daughter has been attending Little Feet Child Minding part time for the last six months and I have found it to be a very fun, loving and homely environment. She is always happy to go and enjoys the arts and crafts and outings they go on. I am so pleased I found Gill and her understanding and compassion are what helped me to choose her over other child minders.
