About Me
I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since June 2007. I live in WGC with my husband and 21year old son. My 23 year old daughter is my fully registered assistant. We regularly attend toddler groups, Willows Farm, paradise park, soft play, and in the summer go fruit picking, to knebworth park and other local parks. I have a wide variety of age appropriate toys. I was graded outstanding in September 2018 by ofsted. We learn through play and lots of talking and singing.
My Experience
As well as being a mum to three children I have been a childminder for 17 years. I also make sure that I keep up to date with relevant courses and health and safety and safeguarding.
My Qualifications
I am fully DBS checked, have a full first aid certificate in place, have completed safe guarding children and food hygiene courses. I keep up to date with regular online courses. I was graded outstanding by ofsted 09/18.

Debbie has been a childminder for both of my kids, and she provided them with a loving and fun-packed experience. Going back from maternity leave was tough for both, but getting loads of fantastic pictures of their amazing adventures was such a comfort. We would often seek her advice for a number of developmental questions - she was a consummate professional and just 'got' kids.The family is lovely and we felt hugely privileged that they were part of our life and gave our kids an amazing start in life. She is ranked 'outstanding' for a reason!

Debbie cares for our son who is 10 months. She has ensured a smooth transition into childcare and Debbie's house is his second home! He is always happy to see Debbie, loves playing with the other children and lots of toys and is thoroughly spoilt going out to lots of different places and having fun. I have complete peace of mind leaving him with Debbie for the day and the fact that I get photos and updates during the day is lovely as I can keep up with what he has been getting up to!
Debbie is flexible and adaptable and always works with us in parenting. In just a few weeks, she has managed to get our son to like his tummy and to use a spoon. She is full of energy and enthusiasm and works very hard to ensure a high quality care. We have discovered a wonderful childminder.
